  1. Are these just to personalize your bag, or do they serve any other purpose? Sorry for the dumb question.
  2. Just went to Golfsmith and they had an extra box that I could have. Awesome. Now off to eBay it! :)
  3. Thank you for all the responses. I wanted to try and stay away from eBay because of the shipping. Also, I don't even know where I would find a box to fit it.
  4. I just upgraded bags and my old bag is in perfect condition. What is the best way to sell my old bag? I already have it on Craigslist... It is a Nike Sunday Carry bag, retails new for $109.99. My bag looks brand new... I have it on CL for $75 obo. Am I asking too much? Are there any trade in programs for bags? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
  5. A few from the 15th tee box at Newport Beach public golf course...
  6. Just spoke with someone over the phone at PayPal. Although they can't say too much, Shotly is being investigated by them at this time. The lady at PayPal read over what I had, and instantly gave my account a credit of $25. They can't do much about the $5 shipping charge, though... but that is okay, I got $25 back and a couple of cheapo golf things! PayPal FTMFW!!!
  7. Just an update... here is what I said to open the dispute, and what Shotly responded to PayPal with. He doesn't even respond to the fact that I mentioned that it should be $25 or greater in value!!! I have just given more evidence to PayPal regarding this debacle, so it should be an easy case to decide for them. 10/1/2011 08:27 PDT - Seller : You can see quite clearly what the details of this transaction were about. It was a grab bag and we clearly communicated what they could get (good, bad or indifferent). http://shotly.com/deals/the-first-ever-shotly-grab-bag-could-be-gold-or-could-be-old/ 9/30/2011 07:42 PDT - Buyer : I was told by Shotly that the items that I received, whether be old or gold, would be worth $25 MSRP or above. I have checked numerous websites, and a local store, and the items I have received are not worth $25 MSRP or more, and I would like to return them for a full refund.
  8. THIS IS HILARIOUS: Log in to Reply Jeremiah Webb Saturday, September 10 2011 Do you guys give out any odds on gold v. old? Trying to decide if it is smarter to put my paycheck down on black in Vegas or on a box from you guys! Haha. Log in to Reply shotly Saturday, September 10 2011 Lol, I’m going to say double down and buy 2? Seriously, though, no odds per say, everything will be at random. The one thing I will say is the more people that buy into this the larger the pool and the more gold there becomes than old. How’s that for a non-committal answer? Considering they sold 382 grab bags and were OVERWHELMED as per their dumb email about tracking numbers, etc... if they were so overwhelmed, don't you think according to their comment, that there should have been more gold than what we have seen... wtf... these guys are crooks!!!
  9. Thanks GJ. If PayPal asks for anything, I will show them the PDF I just made of the listing and their comments! And I will make them ask Shotly for documentation proving how much it cost them for the CRAP I got...
  10. I don't have a Facebook, therefore I cannot see where it says that they promise it will be worth $25 or more MSRP. Can someone send me a picture or screenshot of it?
  11. I'm not exactly sure either... but my dispute was just the first step, which notified Shotly that I was disputing the charges. Shotly then had the chance to rectify the dispute or escalate it. They chose to escalate it.
