  1. Yesterday, I took my young cousin to the batting cages. I paid $32 for 40 tokens that gave us a total of 600 pitches. All tokens were used up in just an hour.....While local golf courses charge between $25-50 to play 18 holes on the weekend that I can last for several hours. Seriously, I think baseball is a very expensive game to play that most people tend to overlook. What do you guys think?
  2. Thanks, i found out the total weight already. I guess the driver is not for me.
  3. I'm considering either buying the new XL launcher which is 270 grams or the old Monster XLS. Does anyone know what is the total weight of the Monster XLS weight? Thanks
  4. I did try the fit-on gold and it gave me like 15-20 yards less than my current Taylormade Burner club. But the thing that I really like about the Hibore XLS is that I can hit it so easily and more consistent than the Burner. I guess the Hibore only has 5300 MOI in comparison to the Burner's 5800 that's why I got less distance
  5. Can anyone let me know if the fit-on red shaft with lower torque than fit-on gold would produce longer distance? Thanks for any feedbacks.
  6. When I hit it good my carry is about 190-200 yds with my driver and ~110-130 with my 2 iron at the range
  7. I'm curious to know how many times can you guys afford to play per week? My boss is making $100 K and he told me he could only play like once a week. Personally, I can't afford to play on the course at all. . I can only hit balls at the range Anyway, here is the rate of the course where I live a couple of blocks away http://www.milesquaregolfcourse.com/...535&page;=27514
  8. Ebay is very tempting considering its prices. However, I'm not taking any chances with Ebay when I spend more than $200 for a club. I'm thinking about getting a Clevend Hibore XLS, which is selling for $323 including taxes at RogerDunn. On Ebay it's about $250, but I'm don't want to take that risk. I would rather trust the golf shop than those Ebayer when I spend this much money
  9. At the driving range of my place, they have limited range ball for hitting. The most powerful shots that I've ever seen without roll are about 225 yards. Rarely do I see anyone who can hit that far at my place. I use to hit about 155-160 yards at most with my cheap club. Since I got myself a Taylormade Burner, I've improved a little bit. Now, I can hit like 15-20% of my shots without roll for like 190-200 yards
  10. I just wonder when members in here talk about their carry distance, are they talking about how far they can hit with the limited range ball at the driving range?
  11. Once in a while when I get lucky, (like 2% of my shots) I would hit one for 200 yards. which is my longest carry
  12. I'm planning to buy either a TaylorMade Burner Driver ($300) or TaylorMade r7 SuperQuad Driver ($400) or Taylormade TP Burner Driver ($400). Is there a hugh difference between these three clubs in term of how far I can hit the ball? Thank you for any advices.
  13. No, I don't have the 460 cc driver. Mine is 1 wood Wilson hyperdrive titanium composite. Is the 460 cc the club that most people use to hit their longest drives? asianpsuation, Maybe one day I can hit 200 yds, who knows.
  14. I don't even want to talk about my average lol. The farthest that I can hit (full swing btw) is about 155 yds with a driver off the tee. I guess I'm not physically strong enough like the rest of you guys in here to hit it 200+. But then again, like 95% of the people at the driving range where I play can only hit it as far as I can; rarely do I see anyone can hit it 200 yards, let alone hit it over 200 yds.
