  1. resonant shudder is a good description of the feeling
  2. i dont take much of a divot until I get down to wedges and then not always. im a bit of a picker but def hit down and through. i feel this on prob 75% of my swings. my irons have been grooved. so of course im putting terribly. so it goes... cant complain about puring my irons but like I said just curious if an x stiff would be better maybe I just want c-tapers and am trying to justify
  3. ive been playing this driver for a few weeks. people arent talking about how hot the face is. its a great driver, sets up great, and has a ton of pop.
  4. when you flush a shot, after you feel the ball compress and rocket off the face, do you feel the shaft sort of wiggle lije its exloding at impact. i've asked my buddy that I always play with and some guys in the clubhouse but no one knows what I mean. im a real big guy. 6'1" 275 with a 425lb squat 475 dead lift. i hit medium long 7i about 170, 6 about 190. the ball goes straight generally or a slight hook. im playing kbs tour stiff shafts w/ mp-59s and i'm pretty happy. i just wonder if I need an x-stiff shaft. is that wiggle affecting accuracy or length? my ball flight is def on the higher side. i have trouble hitting punch shots.
  5. hi1 167 yds slight uphill w/ 7i. striped it wirh a baby draw. landed 24" past and sucked back into the hole. rest of the day was shit.
  6. they are allowed to sell for whatever price they want. the mfg can set map pricing and czn set some consequences for advertising a price below map but retailors are free to sell their goods for whatever price they want as long as the price isnt advertised. the mfg can stop fufilling a retailor or take away back end funding for map violations but cannot collude on pricing at the pos

  9. totally different drivers d3 is more of a tp, its small. i started off good with it but as the season went on i just couldnt hit it. its not for you average joe. i picked up the ping anser today. it compares to the d2 which my buddy has and I can hit. i liked the anser right away and according to the monitor I hit pretty well so I said eff it. its not as adjustable ut im kind of over adjustability and had it back to A1 anyway.
  10. lol @ horrible. the 59s are probably the most positivly reviewed irons in recent history.
  11. i play the superstroke slim on both my ping redwood anser and my tm spider and will probably never go back.
  12. my usual playing partner got the nikes and i have the mizzy's. those vr's are pure crap. the mid and long irons are super tiny, really light, terrible feel and awful stock grips.. propably the most unforgiving iron on the market. the short irons are decent but all short irons are easy to hit. well i guess theres an ass for every seat.
  13. love mine +half inch 2° upright with kbs stiff shafts decade multi comps with 3 wraps. want to hit them with c-tapers at some point
  14. i had the same irons and wedges as you last year. the pw, 9, and 8 were ridiculous, imo. big old blimps. long irons were automatic though. lol went from burner+ to a really used set of mp-33's off cl. quite the leap but was the right move. iron striking got a lot better really fast. got the 59's for xmas from the fiance and absoloutley love them. just butter. I upgraded wedges to sm4 recently. like them but was better out of the sand with the tw9, just stay our of the sand, right? what a dumb game. at least it's really expensive to play.
