  2. Sounds like it is help you out alot. I have not set anything up with them yet. I am still trying to decide to go with local pro, or give golftec a try. Over the last month I have dropped my index another stroke on my own. Mainly cause I have been working really hard on my short game and putting. Hopfully the snow will go away so I can get outside and practice.
  3. The snow finally melted off the front nine at my home course yesterday, and my 5 year old was bugging me to go golfing. We played the front nine twice. Unfortunately I left my phone in the car for the first nine. Shot a 42 only hit 1 fairway and 1 green in reg. Could land the ball on the green on your approach it would bounce 20 feet in the air and right off the back. By the time we made it back to #1 it was 45-50 degrees and the greens had thawed out some. Number 3 and number 5 I had less than 10 feet for birdie. missed just left on 3, and a half a roll short on 5. Left a chip 2 inches short on 6 perfect line. And chipped to six inches on 8. This winter I have been really focusing on my chipping and putting. It looks like it is paying off.   4. I am looking at starting a lesson package with Golftec, and was wondering if anyone here has used them in the past. And how you felt about the service and results. Over the last two years I have been able to drop my handicap from 18 down to 9.4 on my own, just by finding tips online and trying to implment them into my game. I feel like in order to get it to drop any further I really need to get with a pro.
  5. My best shot this week, happened on Sunday. Number nine GPS said 287 to the front edge from the tees, I usually play a 3 wood off the tee, but I have been hitting my driver really well the last three rounds. So I waited for the green to clear and let it rip. It was straight down the middle headed for the pin, but was a little low and I figured it never had a chance. When we got to the green my ball was pin high and 12 feet left on the fringe, the pin was was only ten yards from the front. I ended up missing by one inch to the low side, as usual didn't play enough break. Two putted for birdie.
  6. Closest for me is in my profile pic. Just this last sunday, par 4 287 to the front, 297 to the pin. It stopped 12 feet left and pin high, two putted for birdie.
  7. So this year my new years resolution is to play atleast one round at par. My lowest round is 76 and I shot low 80's. So with the proper training, dedication I think that this more than do able. Next month I will be starting weekly lessons with golftec. But in the meantime I am searching the internet for tips and techniques to improve my game. I have also started a blog to record my results and stay accountable. I will be posting my results here, along with pic. and stats for every round. Thanks Jeremy
