  1. they do that if they sell under the Minimum set price by Ping but they can have them on sale if they stay over that mark
  2. I've seen vokeys on sale before, it was several weeks ago, I gt in the proshop and they were about 25% off, that might have been end of season liquidation thought
  3. It is not face balanced, the face sits at about 45 degrees. I have one, didn't use it on the course all that much but really like the feel and distance control I had with it...I did have a few putts were I did hit the ground before the ball, probably cause I'm more used the a plumber's neck, mine has a 350g head(it was originally 33") so it felt a bit heavy to me as I'm used to 330g heads...I really liked it tought
  4. Studio Style 35"/330g RedX3 35"/350g and got an all original sole stamp Newport TeI3 in the mail
  5. well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that as I know for a fact that a whole bunch of people won't touch a scotty with an aftermarket finish with a 10 foot pole...
  6. I agree that if it's only for a paintfill job you should do it yourself, but having an aftermarket finish done on your putter will probably cut at least half of the potential buyers if you ever think about selling it, same thing can be said for the stamping
  7. Send it to the Custom Shop, especially if you ever intend to even think about selling it, and personally I'd get it back to original paintfill and finish
  8. Thanks Alot StoneCutter, I'll definitly consider looking at County Louth and Headford....rain gear was pretty much the first thing I bought in preparation for the trip, even before my travel case...I'm starting to think that I should definitly have stayed longer there seems to be so many great courses cant wait to be there in a few days :)
  9. How far from Montreal's island are you willing to get? as I live just off the island I know more courses off of it, and I've only been playing for a year as well so I don't know that many courses yet. my favorite is Base De Roc, Ile de Montreal is really good from what I heard, and it's on the Island (eastern part of the island), I could Try to dig a bit further for you, especially north east of the Island, I'm playing a new course (well new to me) in a few hours Base de Roc : http://www.golfbasederoc.com/ is a little more than half an hour north-east of Montreal, is good and not that expensive. Ile de Montreal : http://www.cgimgolf.com/ is 2 links courses that are a little bit more expensive and from what I have heard quite a bit challenging. it is located in the eastern part of Montreal's Island (I still havn't played there) when are you planning to be over here? hope this helps, Simon
  10. I might Have US Open and PGA on a level field thought but THE Open way ahead and the Masters way behind
  11. you can't really do better than that, I've been looking on and off for one of those...i guess I don't really help myself by looking only in Canada tho(but I finally realised that the shipping diff and duties are really killing any savings I can make)
  12. the ones I tend to like the most are the ones with 009 in the cavity with crowns on the digits
  13. if I'd be getting any cameron as a gift....I'm pretty sure that I'd take a 009
