There will always be those types of people out on the course now and then. He was clearly upset that you didn't want him to join. That still doesn't give him the right to blast a ball past you. You're right, if that hit you it could be been very bad. You should have taken his ball and threw it in some fescue jk. It sounds like it was just a crappy situation all around. I hope you brushed it off and still had a great day.
