  2. a new driver is better than the broken one in my bag
  3. i need a new driver and i bought my dad the nike sq sumo 9.5 a few years back and has seen maybe 5 rounds and he offered it to me because i'm in need of a new one. does anybody have any reviews themselves on this club or should i buy a new one.
  4. I'm looking to get some new irons. currently I'm hitting tour edge bazooka ht irons and i hit them great but I'm young with a steady job and i want something new. i had three magazines with reviews on the new drivers, woods, and irons out this year but on Easter somebody in my family through them out from the bathroom (my favorite reading spot). this year I've replaced my driver with a 9* tour edge bazooka, rbz 3, 5, 7, and i hit these all great all stiff flex. anybody diggin my jive?
  5. I can draw and fade my driver and woods I have such a high handicap because the one thing I didn't learn with my lessons was chipping and they kill my game
  6. alright thanks also i have another question, i have the tour edge bazooka ht performance enhancing clubs and they are designed to help hit the ball higher and not as far but i hit them high and far, 7i 175, 8i 165, 9i 155, pw 140, aw 125, and my uncles tell me it's because i swing fast, should i buy blade irons? whats the difference. if performance enhancing clubs are weighted at the bottom and easier to hit why doesnt everybody use them

  8. i just started playing last season and got fitted for my irons. but this winter i took lessons that changed my swing, should i get refitted for the lie of my irons or would they be the same
  9. thanks a lot. i just use my 56 because i have a little confidence with it, not much with my others.
  10. teeing off is my strong suit. usually about 280-300 straight, draw, fade, anything, i can put the ball in play more often than not, and putting I'm fairly decent. but when it comes to chipping i cant do it. this past Sunday i was on a 330 par 4, and i wanted to go for glory so i took my driver out and crushed the ball to about 5 yds from the green. got up there and attempted to chip my 56 wedge up slope to the center of the green, but instead i hit off the toe of the club to the fringe and rolled to the "sand" now the sand is so hard packed at this course you can putt out most of the time but this wasnt the case and i again attempted to chip out, made solid contact this time but rolled past the pin down the back of the green to the fringe, naturally i got aggravated and with the same club tried again but this time got it right and one putted. now this went from a fairly easy birdie opportunity to the most frustrating bogey. i need help
  11. flex all depends on swing speed. if you think you may have a fast swing you might want stiff flex shafts and learn to hit them as opposed to spending more money buying regular flex and having too much lag.
  12. I took some lessons this winter and what helped me was this 2x4 drill the instructor taught me to straighten out my back swing and come back down the swing plane straight. simply put a 2x4 behind your club and push it straight back it helps build muscle memory and don't hinge your wrists untill the shaft is parallel to the ground
