I want to reshaft my driver but go shorter to increase accuracy. Everything ive heard or read suggests shorter is better, so i thought id give it a try. I currently game a 46.5" wilson dxi 10.5, with an S flex pro launch red and midsize golf pride new decade grip. I'm getting the bimatrix tour prototype shaft and I want to play it at 44.5" but an concerned about the sw change and want to avoid the tape solution if possible. Can I maintain swing weight (or lessen impact on feel) by adding 10g tip weight and switching to the standard GP grip which is about 10g lighter? (shafts are similar +/- 1g difference).

It's really going to vary, likely based on the amount of work needed in the design, materials, size, etc. I'm sure she wouldn't want her customers quoting other potential customers prices for custom work. I would say its not cheap, but I'd also say it's worth the quality of the product. That being said, in my experience she's great to work with. I recommend emailing her. Just keep in mind she answers emails in "working order" and she gets backed up with orders since she's got a rep for doing such great work, she'll likely email you and tell you it might take her 3-4 weeks to start working on your design and quote, so be patient. delilah@girlygolfer.com clubcovers@girlygolfer.com

Gimmick or not. I absolutely love this thing! While my wife is doing her "30 day yoga challenge" I've decided to do a "30 day putting challenge" and have committed to an hour of putting every day this month, so yes, I gave them my money, but now I'm putting in the work. I have to say, I can already feel the difference in my putting already using the Vizor. The sight alignment is taking the quess work out of my set up, which has helped my routine and my confidence. The heavier weight of the head has made me less twisty on my backstroke, and after practicing for a few days doesn't feel as "Heavy" as i initially thought. The weight and the insert are also providing a much better feel that the c-grooves on my old Yes! putter.

I've been mulling over the Vizor putter for months now, as my current Yes! putter has been letting me down (or vice versa) as of late, to the point where my buddy was insisting that a new putter was the answer. When I mentioned the Vizor to him, he scoffed at me, as you would expect an odessey ***** to do. Turns out he later happened to be xmas shopping at RD golf, was testing putters so he could make a reco for me, and just this weekend when we exchanged xmas gifts, he told me his experiece. He told me he didn't like any of the new PING or Odessey putters they had, but that he was surprised to see that they also had the W/S Vizor putter, since pretty much no one carries wilson stuff out here. He then proceeded to tell me how dead wrong he was about the Vizor putter, and that it was pretty money. Said he holed a 30 foot on the practice green on his first stroke, and lipped the 2nd. He couldn't believe it. Said I needed to get to RD and try it out myself. The next day, I went to RD and was absolutely floored. Originally I had been thinking about the blade version, since my Yes! Tiffany was a similar style, and the mallet head looked way to big for my liking (in pics). My buddy, a blade fan, told me the mallet was better than their blade, and he was right. Turns out the issue for me was weight, and while the blade version was acting the same way as my Yes! putter, the heavier mallet was steady through the stroke and all roll. In addition the mallet head was MUCH smaller than I originally thought, and not at all distracting. I too holed my first (and second) 25 footer, and after about 45 minutes trying other putters, I was sold on the W/S Vizor. Went home and ordered the 33" mallet, with along with a Winn jumbo grip from budget golf since they have an instant $50 rebate, 15% off one item, and free shipping over $100. Can't wait to get that bad boy in the bag and out on the course.

For what it's worth. I haven't changed my setup from what i posted in april. I find it incredibly efficient.

How is the ranch at Moreno valley? I'm thinking of stopping there on saturday on the way to palm springs to play on Sunday.

The Grom is listed at 7lbs. I carry 99% of the time, twice a week, and I don't find it too heavy for me. I can't imagine 1 lb will make that big a difference. Plus I'm carrying an additional 72 oz of "liquid" at the start of the round, but the bag always ends up getting lighter by the end.
