  1. He was a power seller 1200 some sales. He only had one bad rated and it was about shipping. The problem with Cleveland there are no serial #'s
  2. Looking to buy a new SW and LW wedge.(you can see why if you read my previous posting Buyer beware Ebay) I’m not sure which wedges I like better, between Titleist Volkey spin milled and Cleveland CG10, CG14 and 588. The lob wedge is going to be Titleist Volkey spin milled 60-4. The sand wedge is the problem should I buy a Volkey to match the LW or buy a Cleveland? Any help would be appreciated.
  3. http://www.usga.org/equipment/non_co...iver_list.html you will find your hibore xl on the list.
  4. Buyers beware when buying clubs on E-Bay. I purchased 3 New Cleveland CG10 Black Pearls 52-56-60 degree for $165. Upon receiving the wedges, I became suspicious the club head color seemed a little off but they were all sealed in plastic so I didn’t think nothing of it. I unwrapped the 56 and took a few test swings on the carpet and noticed the heads were getting scratched which seemed odd to me. How were the wedges going to hold up on the course if they can’t handle Berber? I called Cleveland to find out if there is a way to validate these clubs. The only thing is a raised dot in the “C” of the Cleveland, a kind of watermark. Which mine didn’t have? I took the clubs to a local pro shop to compare it against a real club. I noticed mine had some variations: ¾” shorter, steps in shaft were off, club head smaller, color of club head off, no raised dot in the C, grips were more rubbery and Dynamic Gold sticker color was a deeper gold. If you didn’t have a club to compare it too you would never be able to tell the difference. I contacted the seller on Ebay and told him he sold me counterfeit clubs. He was more then willing to solve this problem. (HMM imagine that). I got my money back and learned a valuable lesson .If it seems too good to be true it probably is. Also stay with authorized online club dealers or buy from a golf shop.
  5. To maximize your distance you should match your swing speed with your ball compression. A good rule of thumb is the ball compression is 10 less then your swing speed.
  6. Now I know why there is going to be test for performance enhancing drugs
  7. If the buyer has good reviews and is a authorized dealer there shouldn't be a problem, but there is always that one time. I would use a credit card that you fight the payment if there is a dispute or fraud. Also, I buy most of my equip. on-line and never have problems.(knock on wood)
  8. I'm looking to change balls. I wish there was a list of all the major balls compressions.
