  1. I love mine, now i am not capable of working shots and such so i cant help you very much in that area, but they are rather forgiving. Hope that helps
  2. no problem, nice to hear someone else on hear likes the sumos
  3. No, the new models are the 5000, and the 5900. Some of the sumo2 from last year came with a sticker on the bottom that said "5300". I think there was a post in relation to it about a week ago. http://thesandtrap.com/forum/attachm...6&d;=1201284631
  4. sumo 5300 is the original sumo2, the 5900 is the new one
  5. the latest version is the 5900, I really dont think that the one that says 5300 was a production model. I got mine in the very end of 07 and it doesnt have that sticker. maybe the on with the 5300 on it was a prototype used on tour. If you dont mind me asking where did that picture come from
  6. I just got a new set of irons and it came with a 54 or 55 degree sand wedge, I already had a 56 and im pretty fond of it, it was my first nice club and i can hit it really well. I guess my question is would it make much sense to carry both of them or is it a waste of time?
  7. I just got a new set of irons and a new 3 wood, now i would like to get a couple hybrids to fill in the gaps but im clueless on what lofts i need. the 3 wood is a 15 degree and the 4 wood is a 23. Also im not opposed to not putting the 4 iron in my bag and just get 3 hybrids because i dont hit the 4 very well, the 5 iron is 26 degrees. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
  8. i apologize if i was confusing with the terminology guys, i guess im not sure what the difference between a fade and a slice im very new to the sport having only been playing for a few months. As for as distance, im horrible but im ok with that for now, my main focus is getting the ball to fly straight. once again thanks for all of the input guys
  9. This afternoon i went to the driving range and tested out the mizuno mx-25, and the callaway x-20. I was very impressed with both of them. At address the callaways were much more appealing to my eyes, and they felt better compared to the mizuno's. however, performance-wise i was completely blown away with the mx-25's, compared to my clubs (which are garbage, i paid 200 dollars for an entire club set, bag and all) i was hitting about 20 yards longer consistantly and a little longer than the callaways, both were way more forgiving than my current clubs. All in all both sets blew me away, i didnt realize how much difference a set of good clubs really makes. Now i just need to decide which ones i want, any input would be greatly appreciated,
  10. thanks for all the help guys, i fixed the problem basically i was starting to follow through before the clubface was done impacting the ball causing a little spin and distance loss. Whats strang about it is that i didnt have this problem with my old driver.
  11. whenever I hit my driver it goes about 200 yards completely straight and then curves to the left (im i a lefty if that matters) on the way down, but only in the last 15 yards or so, and it only goes maybe 20 yards to the left. What can i do to my swing to prevent this?
  12. Well, i really dont know that much about Jack, but i can honestly say that tiger is part of the reason that i started playing golf!
