1. Here's what I put downstairs: I think it's pretty awesome. Pictures over the bar are of family golf history. My late fathers permission driver is also featured hanging above.
2. But did he get Brandel Chamblee's approval to play?!
3. http://scga.org/news/view/governor-brown-initiates-mandatory-water-reductions-for-the-first-time-in-s " Los Angeles Water & Power, which like so many large urban water providers put their golf courses on a water diet long before the current crisis, will likely heap another five percent atop those dietary restrictions, taking them from 20 percent to 25 percent reductions. Other jurisdictions will likely follow in parallel fashion – adding a greater percentage reduction on top of current reductions in an effort to align the golf courses they serve with the Governor’s goals."
4. Intere Hahaha shows how many times I've played worst ball!
5. My favorite part of this, if true, is that he "validated" putts by playing them twice. Golf is insanely hard by itself, but worst ball and putting 'validation'? That's absurd. Dumb question because I have no idea--is Medalist considered a difficult course?
6. I am putting together a golf themed bar in the basement of my house. I have some fun stuff to throw up on the walls to decorate but I thought I would ask if you guys have any ideas. What elements/items should I incorporate? What are some "must haves" for those of you who have already built a bar in your home?
7. Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll head in to my local shop and let you know how it goes. I've always thought that putting was a matter of feel, and it seems like counterbalancing would be another dimension to try to find that "right feel". I was surprised by the amount of counterbalanced putters were on the market the last time I went to the golf shop. Plus, it guarantees that you'll make more putts...right?
8. Hello, I am curious if anyone here can relay some info about their experience using a counterbalanced putter. Was it hard to switch to a counterbalanced putter? What are some of the favorites that are on the market?
9. Hi guys, I have a Titleist lightweight stand bag and would like to take it with me on an upcoming trip. What are my best bets for a travel cover that is durable, convenient, and will be let on the plane without me spending overweight fees? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
10. Good ol RSJ, the course I learned to play golf on. The course I learned not to slice on too, thanks to Hole #3 and Harvard Ave.
11. Thanks Mike. Backswing for me has ALWAYS been something that needed to be rebuilt for me. First time I picked up a club as a kid, I had a huge backswing and over the years it hasn't changed much. Not for lack of trying though, I have tried 2-3 other times to tune it and dial it back. This time I'm more motivated, so we will see what happens. Something funny though, in my head, I have shortened the backswing. I see it on tape and I can't believe I am taking it that far past parallel at the top. Just need to adjust and compact the swing more. Tape is amazing as it doesn't lie. thanks again for feedback.
12. I'm licking my chops to figure out which course to play, all of these options!!!! Do I have to pick one? Hahaha Thanks for input, this gives me a start to do some more googling/talk the fiancée into another round while we are there. :-P
13. I made some adjustments to my feet as recommended above. I am working next on developing a more compact backswing as I think mine runs a bit too long. I won't lose any power if I can strike the ball consistently with a smoother, more concise backswing. Thanks for your input and assistance, everybody.
14. Anybody play Kauai lagoons after the renovation of the ocean holes?
