  1. It’s true he can’t get the stats but at the same time being on a cutting edge like Venetos is, it might take years more before what he teaches come to fruition.
  2. In all my years of golf , good and bad, I never thought of trying a closed stance but after two hip replacements and having all kinds of weight shift problems, it came to me. Before I even saw Jim Venetos vid or heard of him. So a few years ago I saw his vid. Added his idea of stillness in the body but just couldn’t keep my shoulders from engaging in the backswing or his strong grip. I still would highly recommend his method over anyone current methods. At 63 I will revisit his swing next year in my 48th year in golf.
  3. Okay old subject I know but I’ve found closing my stance, shoulders, hips etc. has benefited me greatly with all my clubs. I’m a 2 hip replacement guy that made me try an extreme to get a relief off my hips. Both feet are flared with everything listed above about 20 degree. I do not consciously try to shift weight and keep the weight more on front foot. (I’m sure it shifts somewhat). I take the club back on a conventional line using my lead shoulder to start the swing, and bring the club back inside . The ball goes straight with a slight draw . In all this the fun is back in the game. The ball pops off the club and flies very straight.
  4. Shot a 83 w/ a 20 to 30 MPH wind. Best score this year and it was in these conditions, go figure.
  5. Another Taylormade club the R11s are very nice club.
  6. I recently asked TM about what kind of Stainless steel is being used for the R11 irons. The title is what they told me. Anyone know any other Manufacturers using this in their clubs?
