  1. You, sir, have every right in the world to not use one and continue to search for sprinkler heads.
  2. Jack had the best course management skills of anyone and do not underestimate the value of course management skills. Jack also finished 2nd in majors a high # of times. My vote today is for Jack, maybe in 5 yrs it might go to Tiger if he surpasses Jack's 18 majors.
  3. [QUOTE=NJDuffer;149316]My firend submerged his GL for 15 minutes with no ill effects. I did not email him back to find out why he would need this feature but ok. I guess I can envision a situation where it falls in the water near a drop but it seems like being waterproof is overkill. Why would any sane person submerge his GPs unit in water for 15 min?
  4. The only shoe I can wear that doesn't hurt my feet is the Footjoy Contours. Nothing comes close. It is like walking on pillows even from day 1. Plus they look nice.
  5. Logically: Most GI irons have wider soles and are made for higher handicap players Generall higher handicap players do not take divots and are pickers Therefore wider sole clubs must be good for pickers.
  6. no response? I would think that most mid to high handicappers do not take divots and yet the wide soled G10 is geared to that market. Am i wrong in thinking that wide soles are not good for "pickers". Some feedback please.
  7. I originally wanted to get the G10 irons but have heard that the wide sole is not best for a "picker" who doesn't take divots and a narrower sole is better. Will I be better served with a club like the x20 with its narrower sole? I am a 15 handicap player with decent club head speed and a bad back which prohibits me from hitting these clubs until my bowling season ends in a couple of weeks so I am seeking some input from knowledgable posters in the interim. thanks
  8. Little confused-first you say they are amazing and that you love them but they are too forgiving. Now you are finding other faults with them. I would just take a step back to clear your head before you buy something else that you decide you don't like. Maybe a round with a lot of greens hit will change your mind and a good swing lesson will help ease things.
  9. If someone has problems breaking 100, IMHO they should concentrate on learning and practicing the swing principles and watch the flight of each shot for feedback on the quality of the swing and get some game improvement clubs to give you some confidence.
  10. RHIP Rank Has Its privileges!!!!!!!! (unfortunately)
  11. I just can't let this pass without comment- "way too forgiving, you won't be able to improve as fast, and will outgrow them the minute you start breaking 100". That comment is wrong on so different levels. Until you get the swing principles down where you can repeat them, get the most forgiving club out there. And that you ain't gonna outgrow them just because you now can break 100 or 90 for that matter.
  12. golf is tough enough with modern equipment-why make it more difficult. Hey why not use gutta percha balls and hickory shafts and play like the founding fathers intended the game to be. As for me, give me the latest and greatest. At 59 I hit the ball as far as I did when I was 39-thank you technology. As for not playing the ball the way it lies, well you are not really playing the game of golf.
  13. I have been using a pull cart since I was 25 which was 34 yrs ago. When I was younger I thought nothing of playing golf in 95+ humid weather and a pull cart made it easier. Plus why should I get tired for no reason. THIS IS NOT THE PGA TOUR!!!!!!!!!! So please come down to earth.
