  1. Continuation of above I am a dedicated Taylor Made customer but I love the Cobra AMP driver of which I now own 2, both regular shafts set now at 9.5 degrees. I missed no fairways yesterday.
  2. I am a first time poster on this site but felt compelled to share my thoughts on the Cobra AMP Cell. First I own a top line simulator and hit about 1000 balls per week. I track all aspects of the golf swing including launch angle, carry distance, total distance, spin and the like. I have been playing the R1 and also have a Nakashima. I tested both the stiff high kick point low launch and the regular mid kick point shafts. For me the lightest shaft which is less than 60 grams. The spin was about the same as the R1 butch the launch was higher and the carry distance was probably 15 yards more. I tested the stiff shaft at 10.5 degree face setting but to get the same launch went down to 8.5 degrees on regular shaft. I love the way it feels to hit the ball and while I ban hit the R1 as high and within 15 yards I total distance I have to work harder to get near the same result. This driver is fun to hit a term I do not use related to drivers. I am 61, a 13 handicap and my club head speed is in 92-93 MPH with this club and 88-90 with the R1. Everything in my bag is Taylor Made and everything is custom fitted at the Kingdom in Carlsbad. I am a TYlor Made
  3. I actually have a custom made Elephant Skin golf bag made by Burton Bag Company which is Serial Number 32 and was made on May 8, 1989. I can tell you new it sold for just under $2500 and I believe it is extremely valuable as mine looks like new and I am just starting the process of selling it. The put a custom plate on it with the day it was made, the serial number and my name. I would expect it to be worth upwards of $10,000 but will let you know when I find someone interested. Burton did not make many more after mine but I don't know how many and the Burton Rep told me he did not know and was unable to find out. Hope this helps, let me know if you would like to see pictures.
