  1. Make sure its the "2008 Baffler Pro"! I have the 2008 version in 2/R 18º and I freakin love this club! I hit it about 240+ on carry. I tried almost every new hybrid out there (I.E.: Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Nickent, Nike, etc.) and found it to suite me best. Just be sure its not the DWS nor the old 2007 version.
  2. what kinda shaft we talking about here??? graphite or steel? if its graphite you will definately want a shaft puller, steel you can get away without it. you can check out the golfsmith.com clubmaking videos if you are a newb.
  3. I agree with some of the points on hand here. I hate having my time wasted so i can appreciate it that other people feel the same. I typically go into my local golf shops with an objective in mind and already know what i am looking for because the guys that work there usually blow smoke anyways just to get a sale. I demo clubs at whatever shop has what i'm looking for and will then buy them at the best price i find (most shops have the same price anyways). If a sales person where to help me out and I didnt end up buying anything from them, as long as you are curtious and thank them for their time, I think its ok to shop for the best price elsewhere.
  4. I have the Project X 6.0 in my Cobra Pro CB's and love them. I tested out all different clubs with different shafts and i definately preferred the rifles compared to the step shafts. but....like many have said before...YOU need to try them all out and see what you like the best, dont go on anyones opinion but your own!
  5. I disagree with that. There are plenty of women that i wouldnt call hot in a million years, but would...yeah, you know where im going. she not hot by any means, but she is attractive enough.
  6. 440 for me. It was at Kapalua Plantation last month had a small "breeze" at my back, plus downhill a tad. only had an 80yd pitch to the par 5 but under normal conditions the longest drive i have hit was around 338!
  7. You need to add a new option to vote on - "Would you do her?" i would vote yes
  8. Interesting read. thanks for the thread!
  9. I recently got a new set of irons (Cobra Pro CB's) after playing X-14's for 7 or so years. At first I had my mind set on the X-20 tours because I really liked my X-14's but after hitting them, i wanted to puke!...i was so disappointed by those irons. The x-forged were very nice however. have you tried any other irons out yet? i bet you will find something that you like better than the x-forged. i would bet money on it! the new Titleist, Cobra, Mizuno (new Mp model coming next month), TaylorMade irons are all VERY nice try them all out before you buy a new set....I promise you wont regret doing it!
  10. Danny Lee is absolutely KILLIN it! I was rooting for Kyle Stanley, but he unfortunatly go knocked out in the second round of match play
  11. i havent done this myself, but i have heard that you dont want to go anymore than 2º in any one direction, at the risk of compomising the integrity of the metal. so it sounds like you should be ok.
