Thanks for the feedback, a little more arms and a full hip turn has worked wonders!

Lately I've been hitting all my 56* wedge shots 15 yards low and to the right, worse if I try to swing harder. Every one of my other clubs has improved but this is killing my game. If anybody has a drill that would help I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

It's really important that you get this right to improve your game. If your home course is soft turf or you have a shallow attack angle you should be looking for a lower bounce. If you often play on a hard turf then look into a wedge with higher bounce.

First thing I can tell you after looking at your clubhead speed and ball speed is that you must be fanatically slowing down your swing just before you hit the ball. Your smash factor is just shy of 1.1 and you should be getting almost 1.3 and preferably 1.5 or over. Keep that in mind next time you go to the range or to a launch monitor, the monitors often have a page where you can view your acceleration on a graph, ask to see that next time. Hopefully that will help raise your distance to the 220+ mark. As for hitting it high, it is really hard to say what is happening without looking at your swing. You might be standing too close and "chicken winging" your arms and adding loft to the club.

I'm a pretty consistent 270-280 yard hitter (including roll), on a nice hot day I can put one or two at 300 yards but it doesn't happen very often. I'm 17.

It's not going to change anything, one of my local courses has poor greens and my ball still bounces around.

Just get some foam to fit your box and put holes in it so the club heads can rest in the foam, and if you really wanted to get two pieces you can make slots for your clubs to prevent any movement.

I get to play the best course in town for $12, or $6 for nine. I was in a junior program when the course opened about seven years ago so I get $10 every round until I'm 19 (next year).

I'm going to have to go with the two stroke penalty for telling someone what club you used if you ask. Someone asked then called it on me during a tournament last year and it cost me a top three spot.

I'm at the point in my golf game where I believe I can play blues just as well as whites now. I feel more comfortable having a 120-140 yard second shot to the green than something under 100 yards where I know I will go over. Of course there are some courses around with really large par 5's that I don't feel good adding 30 or so yards to.

I did it a few years ago when I first started, I didn't want to run back and hold everything up so I had to wait after the round and check into the pro shop every few minutes. Luckily someone brought it in and I learned a valuable lesson, now if I have to take more than my putter towards the green I'll always leave it on the pin or next to someone elses club that they brought. :)
