Im just getting back into golf and want to fade the ball from L to R.
Two of the greatest faders of the ball were Hogan and Nicklaus.
Nicklaus advocated coming at the ball from the outside with a slightly open clubface and from what i gather hogan is known for coming at the ball from the inside and still fading the ball.
In Nicklaus' Golf My Way he states: " I was still basically committed to a fading technique at that time, but you try fading when the club moves into the ball from
inside
your intended line. NO WAY!"
so Nicklaus was very adamant about the club having to come from the OUTSIDE of the line to fade the ball yet Hogan was well known for coming from the INSIDE of the line"
any thoughts/ideas??
