  1. Well, Congratulations to me! The woman who moved out while I was at work has given me a signed divorce decree. I am moving to Pcola in a couple weeks or so. Have any of you played there much? I would like to hear some better thoughts on the courses than I obtain from biased ads and the such. Thanks
  2. "We" just want you to never post again. Seriously, I'm pretty sure I know what you mean. Take care all. May you all live with less fear and more birdies. Pax Vobiscum, ---Matt
  3. What I'm trying to say, Bro. Grill Room. Off topic. Yes? No? You make my point but don't really let me know that there is any differentiation between areas of the Forum. You see what I mean, yes? Why have any boundaries if there are none. Just call one giant thread "GOLF". I have a day or two that I experiment with different threads. No one can handle it? C'mon guys, life cannot be this serious. No, really, it is not actually this serious. I have written 5, 10, 20 page papers on death and dying. Is it any wonder that I do not take things as serious as many of you? And you do not have the respect to let me opine in a vein of humor because of the the way you do or do not believe? This is simply unfair. Please leave? I never thought I would hear that from you.
  4. THAT'S where I saw him. He was on Star Trek once. And something about Sherlock Holmes I think. Sherlock had a dog named Baskerville as well if I am remembering the same guy.
  5. Heard of him but not had the pleasure to meet him yet. I thought he somehow looked familiar tho. Thanks.
  6. It is obvious that I abhor thinking. Why would youse guys want to think?
  7. Four more injections in my lumbar region. Four prednisone. Two Lortabs. One tall-boy Bud Light. Later on some Wii Golf. It's been a bad week.
  8. Just curious... who is the guy in your avatar that looks like he is smelling a dead cat under his chair?
  9. Currently I am not sure. Since I switched to modern Callaways I hit my 4i quite a bit for a variety of situations. I am sure when it comes to my previous clubs. 1973 Hogan Apex blades. Best club in the set was a 2i. And IT was the best club in my bag. Not as versatile as the Callaway 4i, but for a pure 2i there was nothing sweeter.
  10. Some of you guys really do take this too seriously. I play with logic, phrases, and words to try and see what kind of response I may get. I have only experimented with this in The Grill Room. I kinda thought it looked like a fun place to play. Well, I've tried to get a few goats just for the fun of it, cause I don't do it in the other areas due to my being golf minded in the other places. I have very much enjoyed and benefited from what I have learned from many of you in the forum. I promise not to banter in The Grill Room again. Not because I feel guilty for having been mischievous, but because I see that not everyone can pick up on certain humor. I know in real life there are people who love my sense of humor and those who think I am totally off the scale. It just depends on who one is and how they see life in general. I have worked with many people who simply cannot laugh at themselves for fears only they are aware of. Some of them are not even aware. I totally understand these principles in relationship to the individuals themselves and their relationship to the world as they view it. I fault no one for the way they see others and the world. We are all different. Diversity is one of the things that makes the world worthwhile. How boring it would be if we all thought alike, eh? I propose we all embrace (or at least tolerate) our vast experience in life and our individuality in thought. And I promise to not relive my times on a debate team in grad school while I am in the Trap. To all my brothers in the wonderful game of golf, ---Matt
  11. Uh,oh. Can feel it coming...another censure. The ultimate answer for the weak minded antagonist with some pull. (please don't say I must explain that last line as well for heaven's sake) It is bad enough to debate you self absorbed, egotistical types as it is. To explain my responses to your shallow minds is simply just to much for me to bare at times. Get a student loan for God's sake and take some courses in logic and or philosophy. PLEASE. Or stick to the subject of....golf. Hey, that's it! Stick to golf.
  12. Please list these folks. I will be happy to inform them of the specific events if they are in fact interested in what caused me to make that one line remark. I make one line...you make conspiracies and several lines. Odd. I spoke with one very important member of this forum recently. It seems that you are at a disadvantage due to what you just stated. Know someone well before you make accusations. You never know who they might be friends with, Ernie. Remember what I originally said? Guess it depends on who your friends are? Think well before you respond. Don't intentionally want to get you demoted. I don't want you demoted, I just want you to think before you speak.
  13. You could have "gone" with a term. Went is not quite the best grammar. But then again, you said you were from Wisconsin so I will consider the source as well as any previous posts. One does not have to be a genius to golf or have a command of their own language. So just be the best golfer you can. We are all supporting you in that effort.
  14. You cannot call very loud from up there,Ernie. But call what you'd like. BTW, just trying to help, you've got something brown on your nose.
  15. Guess it depends on who your friends are. Look closer.
