  2. Wow very cool. Pretty big initial price to buy, but the extra balls are less than I thought they'd be. It would be fun to try that out.
  3. This club is the closest to me, and the best for everything else in the area. Just this one thing is irritating. :)
  4. My wife plays with bright, neon pink ball sometimes, and they definitely stand out. She's tried the yellow balls, but like the original post said, they can still get lost in the rough or with leaves, unless the course is perfectly green. Still waiting for GPS tracking in balls.....
  5. From Canada as well! Ontario! About to go golfing today, and hoping winter holds off for another month so we can keep golfing!!
  6. Here's a quick rule question. The course I'm a member of has a good number of sand traps, but many of them are not made of quality sand. In some there is gravel coming through, and its bad enough to the point that I've taken chunks out of a new sand wedge due to hitting rocks with some of the more stronger hits. I've talked to other golfers who have had the same problem here. My question is, what's the rule/etiquette for not wanting to play a ball in a poorly-kept bunker? I know some guys will actually take the ball out to play it, as they don't want to hurt their clubs, but once we're in tournament play we can't do that. Beyond talking to the grounds manager, what options do we have while playing??
  7. It first started with the man who invented golf, Glen McDougan, who was a nobleman in ancient Scotland. The game began as he was playing croquet, and instead of a nice easy hit, he drove the ball out of sheer madness, then realized he would rather do that... Actually, the answers above make more sense. Lets stick with those. :)
  8. Definitely have a 60 degree loft wedge. Its great for getting out of traps, and makes getting backspin easy for beginners. Also, as a guy with a strong swing, if I need to get over water or bunker, I love taking a full swing with the 60, getting great height and knowing it won't go 100 yards.
