  1. I just graduated college in May with a degree in Marketing, and I am very interested in going into sales in the golf industry. I know it is very difficult to break into the industry, so I'd be willing to start in customer service and move my way up. I absolutely love this forum and love reading all the very informative posts on this site. This got me wondering if any of you had any information (in regards to contacts and connections) that would help me at all break into the large OEM golf industry. I have started looking at their career sites etc and nothing is showing up. I contact the only e-mail that they give, and they of course say their are no openings and to just keep checking the site. I'm not very interested in going the "independent" route at the moment. This has given me the idea they are only looking within the company and their contacts to fill openings. If any of you could help my search for a sales/customer service job within the industry at all could you please send me a private message with any details/advice. Thank you all, Sean
  2. Shot my best ever 37 on the front 9 at my CC. Didn't have time for the back 9 although I wish I did.
  3. Shot 83 from the Blues. 6569 yards. Two Birdies and a couple double bogies. Very erratic play, but I think I played pretty well overall.
  4. MX-700 Driver. 9.5 stiff 199$ from Budgetgolf.com Amazing driver!
  5. I have a 54 and 60* in my bag and has worked out great!
  6. I noticed a lot of websites usually are very complicated in nature (such as golfsmith) where they don't really help out with your decision process of which clubs are best for you. Do you think a site that is completely dedicated to "custom fitting" you for the right clubs alleviate this problem? (without a launch monitor, but asking general questions such as handicap, ball striking ability etc and giving suggestions as to which drivers/irons/wedges would be right for you?)
  7. I'm sorry if you guys think this is spam, but this is mostly a research question that I am interested in. In your opinion (or fact if u are so confident lol), what is the most commonly asked question about equipment on this board? Thanks in advance!
  8. 81. 44 on front (very dissappointing) and 1 over 37 on the back. My drives were awesome and irons felt pretty good. I need to work on my short game for sure.
  9. How is your ball striking with them with a 15 handicap? I was thinking about getting a set (or MP-57's) and I have a handicap close to yours. Thanks.
  10. http://www.legendsclub.com Vanderbilt University just bought this course out a couple years ago and it is a spectacular all-private country club. It has two courses (Iron Horse *North* and Roper's Knob *South*). The courses are both 7,000+ yards from the tips. Great courses with high difficulty.
  11. I recently switched from ProV1's to the Top Flite Gamer and haven't looked back.
  12. From the reviews I have read, I would stick with your MP-57's. You aren't going to get THAT much more forgiveness with AP2's.
  13. The exact same route I went last weekend. The first time switching from my Prov1x to the Gamer, I shot my lowest round 78. I don't think you'll regret it!

Isn't that what I said (or meant to say)

    Golf Sales Rep

Yea, I figure sending in my resume and writing a letter would be the best way to go. I guess I just have to find the right time when someone has an opening because as of right now not one company has an opening for a sales rep.
