i'm currently in the process of replacing my set of nike nds irons because within the year that i've owned them i've outgrew them and to get them refitted would be more than i payed for the whole set. I was wondering what a good set of irons would be for an 8hcp and the most of my shots are thrown away while on the green putting. i have very consistent ball striking and from working with a local fitter my problem with missing greens was more a problem with having a to soft of shaft in my irons. i have heard great things about mizunos, titleist, and bridgestone irons but i was wondering which models would be the best.

i find it fun to watch just to see the size of the kids now-a-days. I am in no means old (22) and they make anyone i played with or new at that age. its just amazing.

To begin this season i was using an old Taylormade R580 with the stock stiff shaft and wasn't really looking for a new one. I was bored one day browsing around on e-bay and found a Titleist 907D2 for real cheap and placed a bid not expecting to win it, but long story short, i now play the titleist and it was the best thing to happen to my game, i gained 10-15 yards on an already long drive.
