I've been playing golf since I was 10, I've never had a lesson in my life. I stopped playing in high school because of football and baseball in the summer (golf would mess up my baseball swing). I'm from the Detroit Metro area, I recently graduated college and work in Commercail Finance. Just looking to get better, what equipment to buy, and just overall experience from others on golf.

Camp Creek is a great course. I'd rather play one round there than multiple at a mediocre course

I've found two things work for me. If you watch Kiradech Aphibarnrats swing, I have success like that but its inconsistent. I went to a pro and he said that I need to get a little steeper. I've lost maybe 2-3 yds an iron and maybe 10 yards off the tee but its much more consistent. I do need to get my clubs fitted for me, I've been using my brothers hand me downs my whole life.

I'm a big guy. About 6'4 250, I'm curious whether or not other big men have any advice on their swing. My swing is inconsistent, not slicing 50 yards every time inconsistent but I want to get better. The reason I'm asking bigger guys is because all the instruction I see is generally made for someone who's smaller and has more room for their arms to hang loose. I have a big chest and gut so I'm a little more compact. Got any tips?
