Let me get this straight, you have never served in the U.S. Army, right?
You have served in the Navy, right?
So you're giving advice about something which you know nothing about.
Jax, Norm3333 doesn't know what he's talking about, don't take his advise.
His (very limited) knowledge pertains only to the Navy.
I've been in the Army and I know what I'm talking about.
Trust me on this, you do NOT want to be an MP.
They do a thankless job that nobody respects or appreciates, and most folks just see them as the type of guys who used to get the crap beat out of them in school, and now they have a badge and a gun and think that they're "Billy Badass".
Think long and hard about becoming an MP.
I think that you would be much happier in the Infantry, Armor, Artillery, or Engineers.
Those are the real driving force of the Army, everything else is just "support".
There is also a special camaraderie and esprit de corps that the "combat arms" MOS's have that support elements simply don't have.
This is my final post in this thread.
Good luck to you and may God watch over you.
