  1. i have them installed on my driver and 3w. personally i like it more than the multicompounds... these premio grips are soft and sticky. i haven't had them long enough to comment on durability.

  3. Like many others have mentioned, I buy most of my clubs from Ebay as well. I've never had any problems with them, although I only buy clubs from reputable sellers (with at least 1000 transactions). This is a pretty useful site that tracks Ebay seller feedback: http://www.toolhaus.org/ I also google these sellers online, and often times you can find golf forums talking about if a seller if legit or not. In terms of the club fitting, there are a lot of places that can fit clubs once you buy from Ebay. However, I would ONLY go to a reputable fitter. I've had my MP-52 for about 2 years now, and I tried 4 different fitters. First time was from Golfsmith, and the sales person obviously had no idea what he was doing. I paid $20 dollars just to hit on the lie board, with no measurement or launch monitor stats (since I'm a lefty and the monitor was set up for righties). The next 2 times were at local golf courses, and both fitters claimed that they were professional fitters. Both times were with lie board only at outdoor ranges, and both concluded that the clubs fit me perfectly! Each of them ended up trying to sell me golf lessons instead. Since I was never comfortable with the fitting sessions, I never got my clubs fitted, until recently... 2 weeks ago I went to a famous club fitter located in South San Francisco area (I think some of you should know who he is). He does his work in his garage, which kind of worried me in the beginning. After warming up, he got me on the launch monitor. Instead of letting me hit right away, he spent the next 10 minutes adjusting the launch monitor to ensure that the readings were correct. He then measured my height, arm length, wrist to ground distance, and the whole nine yards. I didn't start hitting until 30minutes into it. He also asked me to hit at least 20 to 30 shots with the lie board so that he can get a good range of data. He changed the impact tape after every 3 shots, which really impressed me. Immediately he noticed that the clubs were too upright for me, which caused me to pull my shots. He bent my 6iron right on the spot for 2* flatter, and OMG the pull shots were gone. My shots became so much more consistent and I also noticed a 5 - 10yd gain per hit. He also suggested that I am hitting my shots too high due to the Project X shaft; however, instead of trying to sell me some Dynamic Gold S300, he just told me to move the ball farther back in my stance to lower the ball flight. During the fitting, he also noticed a few flaws in my swing. He gave me great tips right away instead of trying to sell me lessons, which helped me improving my golf swing tremendously. The whole session took about 2hrs, and he adjusted all of my irons right away. I was so impressed with the experience that I went back on Thursday to get my driver and 3 wood fitted. I did spend a pretty penny on the new shafts but i can't wait to get them back in 2 weeks!!! So what I am trying to say is that yes, you can definitely fit your clubs even if you purchase from Ebay. Cast irons can be adjusted as well, but probably within 2* by a good fitter. If you have a pretty consistent swing then I would definitely go get my clubs fitted. It's the best golf investment I've ever spent! I am no longer a club ho...
  4. Here is a slightly used TaylorMade R9 SuperTri driver. This is a left handed 10.5 degree driver with the stock Fujikura Motore 60g Stiff shaft. Standard length and stock grip. This club is in MINT condition. I bought it about 2 months ago and have only used it for about 3 rounds. Took it to get fitted today by Joe Kwok, but he suggested that I should get a 9.5* club head instead. As you can see from the pictures, there is NO ball marks or scratches on the club face and crown. Also comes with the screwdriver and two 6g movable weights. $175 with FedEx shipping. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
  5. Currently playing with the Adams 9015D driver but just purchased the R9 Supertri (will arrive next week). Anyone used both drivers and what are your thoughts? 9015D is pretty sweet but i'm still not very consistent with it. Hopefully the Srupertri can be a bit more forgiving but not lose the yardage at the same time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!
  6. most of the girls on the new big break sandals are pretty hot. its sad to see them getting knocked out every week :(
  7. even though im a high candicap, i feel like my 60* is my most useful wedge inside 50yds. i often use it in deep bunkers and around the greens. definitely try it out before you get it!!!
  8. i would suggest the golf pride multi compound grips. they look great and feel awesome!
  9. as a fellow lefty with handicap of around 20, i know exactly how you feel. i am currently playing with mp-52 4-p, project x 5.5 shafts. i do love my irons but sometimes i wish they are a bit more forgiving. it definitely took me a while to get used to the long irons. ive also tried the AP-2 and felt that they are a bit more forgiving. however, i ended up with the 52s simply because they look a lot better in my eyes. if you want to keep the new set for a while, then i would suggest the mp-52. if you want more forgiveness, then i would go with the AP-2 or maybe even the taylormade burners. hopefully it helps
  10. ohh thanks for the tip! i will give that a try.
  11. so i've had my wedge for about 2yrs, and im wondering if i should be looking to change the grip. i dont play that much, maybe about 2 range sessions per week, and 2 rounds per month. i do notice that compare to the other grips, this one is more slippery. some websites suggest to change your grip every 6months or so. just curious about how much difference a new grip would make. also ive been thinking about doing grips myself. however, golfsmith only charges about 3dollars for installation. i understand that if i regrip my entire set, that would save some money. but if it's just 1 club, it probably doesnt make much sense. what do you guys think?
  12. i have the footjoy reelfit. They are extremely comfortable and easy to put on. I walk quite a bit so they are great for my feet
  13. Thanks! how much does club fitting cost generally?? Can they adjust irons without switching out the shaft??? I got project X 5.5 shafts on my irons and absolutely love them. I dont really want to get new shafts unless i get 10-20yds longer per club... :)
  14. i prefer fedex over UPS as well. a few times UPS sent my orders to the wrong address. If thats not the case, then they always leave the item at the front door. When i purchased my MP-52 set, they left the package there for the whole day!! i would be crying if someone took it.
  15. i am going to get my clubs fitted on Friday. I recently purchased a set of MP-52 and love them a lot. I want to get them fit so I can get better with them. Do you guys think it'll help for people like me? At my handicap is it even worth it to do a club fitting session?
