I've been Playing Golf for:
3 years, regularly; 20 years off and on
My current handicap index or average score is: 14.7
My typical ball flight is: a high fade
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: a push or a push fade
I've had a few lessons. Pro advice has ranged from quiet the hips and strengthen my grip to release more through the ball. My grip is very strong, with three knuckles showing, but that doesn't help much with my problem which ranges from a push to a straight fade to a push fade. I've also worked a lot on trying to keep my back facing the target as long as possible in my downswing. Still, I think my hips are blocking my hands, but I'm really interested to hear some comments.
