  1. Well aren't you a clever fellow. I don't need to know how Vegas odds work. Yes some gamblers make money. Basically laundering illegal cash from various sources and are willing to lose 5% over time to avoid 35 % taxation. Myself I make good money and pay taxes. I don't need to give any to a gambling house. Some folks are trust fund children who have excessive amounts of money they have no idea of how it was made and spend time gambling. Then there are the sad cases of folks who believe they are lucky and blow their money and life savings.
  2. I agree totally. Hank Hainey called this team the "Boys Club". More interested in locker room chemistry as opposed to the best golfers. It was clear to anyone who watches and understands golf that Hank was correct.
  3. USA: Scheffeler is arguably one of the best players in the game. Yet he has been struggling with his putter the later part of the season Brooks Koepka is the next best yet ZJ snubbed him the first round 1 morning group. Dumb move. After that good players but no one played particularly well near the end of the season except Harmon. Europe: Rahm has been solid for at least two seasons Holland probably the best young player on the planet Mcllroy is having a great season Fleetwood has been playing very well especially late in this season
  4. Ok I acknowledge that I was wrong about the Vegas odd. My question is how could Vegas be so far off? It was clear to anyone who watches golf that the European team was far stronger than the US team. BTW I don't think even a better selection of US players would have helped much.
  5. Very cute cartoon. You must be pretty bored to dig that up. have a nice time watching the RC tomorrow.
  6. Last I checked it's still a country of freedom of speech. At least as long as we have a sane president and a senate majority. I am not a gambler as I work hard for my money and know that Vegas and any other gambling arena makes odds that over time you are guaranteed to loose. I thought I saw odds favoring Europe when I posted that. As I have said I am not a gambler so perhaps I mistook the negative numbers as against the USA. I really don't give a shite! I do bet on my golf games as I like the incentive that money games bring to my game. Clearly the USA is being out matched in all departments. Zack Johnson is a nice guy but has made numerous bad decisions and Luke Donald has shown a genius level of decision making.
  7. I got laughed at when i made the prediction that USA was in trouble a couple of weeks ago. I made a comment that Vegas was going strong for Europe. I was given a rash of shite from a bunch of people here. Well looks like this thing will over sooner than later.
  8. Another consideration. This is the first RC since the inception of LIV golf. Only one USA player Koepka is from the LIV tour.
  9. Spieth played 10 tournaments in the last season zero wins and missed 4 cuts. Finau had two wins.
  10. Regardless of the makeup of the USA Team they are going to have their hands full. It is a very weak team compared to those of the past. Europe has top players playing in top form. Vegas has Europe as a solid favorite.
  11. Finau has two victories in this last season. Spieth has none. Two or more victories should almost be a lock IMO. Yes JT has performed well in the Ryder cups previously. He also was playing in the regular tour events at a very high level. Not so this last season. I believe you are putting a lot of pressure on a golfer who is currently in the lost and found department.
  12. Keegan should be on the team as well as Tony Finau and Lucas Glover. You have the Captains picks so you can get players who are on the rise with their game. JT, Spieth and Burns do not qualify for this criteria. This mumbo Jumbo about team chemistry is just nonsense. I think there was some pressure from big money sponsors who calculate that big name recognition is more important than actual quality of play. If they get a 10% larger viewing audience in a loss to Europe it is better then a victory with 10% less viewers. Sadly it comes down to the almighty advertisers dollar.
  13. I have had a Cart-tek which had a hand held remote but I want one that I don't have have any type of controller in my possession. I saw there was one that worked on some kind of optical imaging that you could control with hand signals. Has anyone tried it or maybe another option is out there? I don't mind spending money so long as it works consistently and last for a couple of years.
  14. I know it sounds a little odd. Also I have only tried it with the Bullseye. But the brass has such a nice soft feel it seems very easy and I have dropped some nice birdies with it.
  15. You can but with a very quick down hiller it nice to not have to adjust your wing speed but rather use this trick. Don't knock it until you try it.
