I've been Playing Golf for: Played in high school, stopped for ~10 years, and picked up the game again a year ago My current handicap index or average score is: 27 My typical ball flight is: High shots The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Straight shots left of target, fat shots causing inconsistent distance, also sometimes I neglect to roll my right hand over which keeps the face open.
I have been trying to develop a consistent swing that will keep my ball in play. I've recently broke 100 and have my mind set on breaking 90 in the near future. I have had good success in minimizing penalties by teeing off with at most a 5-iron and using no woods at all. I am trying to adhere to Ben Hogan's 5 fundamentals and refer back to them for swing thoughts after hitting bad shots. However, even his fundamentals are probably not meant for everyone. I'm looking for feedback if there are any glaring problems with my swing.
