I'm down. If nothing else, we can make a trip down for a couple rounds.

It's what I like to call "economically correct". After 2 or 3pm on the weekends, it's only $29. Cart included. Nice course for the price. The clubhouse is a trailer, but the course is in good shape.

We are. I'm down Rogers Road in Cornerstone. Kids go to Shiloh Elementary. I play wherever they'll let me. I like The Divide, shot my best round ever there. Not sure how, but I managed an 84 there. That is a feat that has yet to be repeated. I have played Charlotte National a lot in the past, and I've heard great things about Monroe CC. Most recently I played Carolina Lakes down in Indian Land, SC. About a 35 minute trip, but course is in great shape.

I'm in the Sun Valley area, so we're not too far apart. Where do you usually play?

Good Morning Everyone, Been fighting with the game of golf for about 20 years off and on. Picked up the sticks for the first time in 18 months on Monday, and found the love that was lost a few years back. Once I realized the PGA wasn't in need of my services, the game became a lot more fun. Typically shoot in the high 80's or low 90's, just depends on how much my short game hates me that particular day. Husband and a father who dabbles in soccer coaching and poker as well when I'm not working. Interested to meet more people who share the same obsession with an annoying game of chasing perfection, which we all know is unattainable.

My day job is in Commercial Real Estate finance as an Analyst. I also coach soccer, play poker, and play golf anywhere but the fairway. Anyone can play from the short grass, but it takes a true talent to play from the tall grass...or the sand...or the trees.

I live in the Charlotte, NC region in the Union County area.
