  2. Great video! Well, I know I setup with more weight on left foot but maybe I do shift some right. I have never used a device as shown in the video. So, I don't know for sure where my weight goes later. All I can say is that when I setup weight left my balling striking is better. http://thesandtrap.com/t/64993/weight-forward-using-swingcatalyst-and-sam-balance-lab-to-explain-pressure-throughout-the-swing Looks like Jack Nicklaus sets up left... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w654-Rlrcjo
  3. I'm 63 and experience Sciatica pain back issues. I have taken at least over 50 lessons from Pro's and 24 lessons at Golf Tec over 3 years. i am a student of the game and have read numerous books on the subject. A couple years ago the Cleveland Clinic Hospital sponsored an all day golf and back clinic. Spine Doctors and golf pros from area golf courses were in attendance. One Pro told the 50 or so folks enrolled that day that the easiest and most effective way to make great ball contact is to setup with your weight foreward. I could not believe a Pro was saying this. When Spring arrived I tried it! I want from shooting in the high 90s to low 90s and even shot an 85. I have to tell you I didn't pick up the game until I was 54 years old. Instead of arguing about theories of golf different swings or athleticism try it out see and see for yourself. Some of you will be very happy you did! Cheers! Mike
  4. All I know is that every club hits the ball further. Although, with my driver I start on left but I'm sure weight goes to right foot. The ball is raised up on a peg... so it's different.
  5. Looks like a good idea! Except probably too much for my bad back and sciatica.
  6. I am a firm believer in setting up with weight left. I took a dozen lessons at GolfTEC and dozens more with local pros. All of which helped immensly except for weight shiftting. I struggled with that. So, I tried keeping my weight left and it's helped my game. Contact with the ball is far better. For me, it's now part of my swing for good!
  7. I agree completely. It works for me. My handicap is finally falling. A local Pro recommend it and I'm glad he did! The " bump your hips" to start the downswing has never worked for me. Weight forward at setup works great!
