  1. WOODS HAS NO CHANCE Boys !!!! hE WON'T EVEN PLAY THE LAST TOURNAMENT W/ 30 GUYS.
  2. I played occassionally for about 8 years and shot 90's mostly with a number of mid 80's. By occassional I mean every 10 days or so. By year i mean season, may - september. I quit playing for 4 years, and took the game up again when I had a bit more time for it. Began playing and practicing regularly, about 4 days a week on average. Took two years (ie seasons) and my handicap dropped to about a 7. Has stayed around a 3 for quite some time but has been as low as a 1.4when I played competitive golf more. FWIW took 4 lessons in that 2 year period. Two Biggest factors was my ability to self-diagnose my bad swings and correct them during a round and becoming a reasonable putter and short game player. Oh yeah, I don't kick my ass mentally when I make mistakes.
  3. I think that if Woods continues to play badly, as he has the last month, he not only won't win any more Majors or beat up Jack's record - he won't win any more tournaments. When your game consists of missed cuts and placing 40th or so in the field - you don't win anything ever. With his current game he passes nobody but John Daly.
  4. Beautiful stuff indeed. Smooth it on laddie...
  5. Are you kidding me? You are really asking whether you should go? OF COURSE you should go. I promise you it will be one of the best golf experiences you will have. As good as a trip (ok almost) to St Andrews. Better, imo than Pebble Beach. (What IS it about that place anyway)? I think the 4th course, Old Mcdonald, opens in June. You can give us a review when you go back a second time. Don't even think twice man. First class all the way.
  6. Bandon Dunes et al St Andrews et al Either one would do nicely.
  7. Personally No. $495? Come on. Try this....Take a ride down 17 mile drive or head into the clubhouse bar and check out the view instead. Get a cocktail. Enjoy the view. Play St Andrews a couple times instead. Orfor something closer, immediately head to Bandon Dunes and avoid Pebble altogether. Better golf too.
  8. I would recommend OPB's (Other People's Balls). These work best if you have a borrowed swing and a free mind. Really
  9. Hey people... OF COURSE THEY ARE GETTING DIVORCED ! Going to Gilligan's Island in Sweden to rehab with some intense counseling? Please, nothing but pink noise from IMG . Trying to make things work ? Not now, not ever gonna happen. The mariage has been DOA FOREVER. Hitting some Nike One's into the ocean with a 3 iron in the winter, in the old archipelego, waiting out the self-imposed exile? Oh sure, and if you believe that I have a bridge I 'd like to sell you...
  10. +1 I have always heard that the shafts installed in the oem product is almost never the same shaft as the aftermarket version.
  11. U could also try the Nike Power Soft Long time cold weather ball
  12. Will definitely hold up fine for 18 holes. Pretty durable ball and not bad performance wise
