  1. Let’s be consistent and apply those standards to the PGA. PGA Tour’s sportswashing problem in China Commentary: Is China using PGA Tour to distract from its human rights abuses? "But there’s a big difference between reluctantly having to do business with an unscrupulous government to sustain and provide one’s own growth goals with a recreational, non critical pastime for the country club set, and their rich, spoiled and entitled PGA and PGA of China boys wanting to make more money to pay for their lavish lifestyles while ruthlessly crushing any competition that doesn’t give them the largest piece of the pie. This is about the PGA grabbing the bucks and disrespecting the “non-profit”, tax-exempt, monopoly standing while hiding as many details as they can get away with regardless of reporting requirements, just that this has provided all of them quite the luxurious life."
  2. The hypocrisy during the interview Jim conducted with Jay today on CBS reining moral, virtuous outrage is stunning, predictable, weak and unconvincing. When will Jim ask Jay about China? I am no fan of Saudi Arabia and would not choose to be associated with them in any way. More-so with China but that relationship will not be challenged. 3. One of my other hobbies is photographer and I shot professional sports, as a second “job” for a number of years. I typically shot NFL, MLS and International soccer, MLB, and NCAA Football and Basketball, but was able to shoot the 2010 Sr. US Open at Sahalee and the 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay. I was able to talk my way into an inside the ropes pass at the Sr. Open and would shoot some of my favorite Sr. players until Seattle native and local favorite Fred Couples got on the course, especially once he was contending and paired with eventual winner Bernhard Langer in the final round. They were the best seats and that was the best experience outside of an honorary observer role I could imagine. For the US Open at Chambers Bay I wasn’t as fortunate. I wasn’t included in the small group of photographers allowed inside the ropes but there were roped off areas exclusive to photographers that on many holes provided close access and good sightlines. Some were farther away than I would have preferred but overall, a great experience other than making my way through the crowds to get from hole to hole. Tiger from a severely plugged lie.
  4. Thanks, checked the link. Validates my comment to an extent and now more information and studies indicate up to lifetime immunity for those recovered from Covid-19. I am open to all information in an open transparent way without censorship. "Yes, you should be vaccinated regardless of whether you already had COVID-19. That’s because experts do not yet know how long you are protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19. Even if you have already recovered from COVID-19, it is possible—although rare—that you could be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 again. Studies have shown that vaccination provides a strong boost in protection in people who have recovered from COVID-19. Learn more about why getting vaccinated is a safer way to build protection than getting infected." From the CDC link> The CDC has been a moving target, worth considering even if they have been all over the map with predictions and guidance. I would like to review the studies referred to in the CDC link but haven't found them yet.. Another study from last month: Do You Need a Vaccine After Having COVID-19? Experts Aren’t Sure Researchers say that people who’ve had COVID-19 appear to have similar immunity to the virus as those who’ve been fully vaccinated.
  5. Bryson has recovered from Covid-19! He likely has more antibodies than anyone that has had the vaccine and studies claim they are longer lasting and may even last a lifetime. Read a study from this month by Ali Ellebedy, Ph.D., an associate professor of pathology, immunology, medicine and molecular microbiology. I realize these are questions we aren't supposed to ask or consider. I can't find any studies that indicate getting vaccinated after recovering from Covid-19 provide any benefit, just a guess it won't hurt even if they haven't been able to confirm if it could hurt or not., even through a search on Google. DuckDuckGo is always wise to cross-check with or use exclusively.
  6. One of a few Fathers Day outings with my Son at Chambers Bay
  7. Thank you. First time I shot golf. Other than rushing to get in position for the next shot, I found t a fairly easy game to shoot. Since I carried two bodies I was afraid I would accidentally trip a shutter early. This was my favorite shot from the tournament. I can respect that but my group of we is different from your group of we, whatever that means.
  8. Surprising not to see a thread about Freddy winning last week. Always been a big fan, partly because I am from and still live in Seattle but boy, what a swing. A “hobby” that took me away from golf for too many years was sports photography and I have been able to shoot two local events; the 2010 US Sr. Open and the 2015 US Open. I followed Freddy every day, including the final round where he lost to Bernard Langer. What a treat and great to see him in the winner’s circle again.
  9. Tiger at Chambers Bay for the US Open looked pretty strong and needed to for this plugged Lie. © Me
  10. I work for a Network Manufacturer with HQ's located in Silicon Valley. I have been consumed with other "hobbies" for the last three 5 years or more but am now excited about picking up the game again. I work from a home office but do a lot of travel, mostly in the Western USA.
