Thanks for the reply. Do you think the Ping G400 would hold the greens better since it has a higher ball flight?

Been fitted for both the Ping G400(stock shafts) and the Callaway Rouge X.(recoil shafts) with these two being the top two of all of the irons I tested. Ping a little softer feel and less accurate with Rouge X being longer and surprisingly more accurate. Which would you choose? (also Ping had a little more higher ball flight). Big decision....both are the same price.

I play with 70 yr old seniors. Last week one of the guys had a demo form the golf show....oxio it was marked as S stiff but was really whippy.the result was a ball that had low spin resulting in a lot of roll out, it had a 9.5 head. Was suppose to be stiff by the hands and soft at the tip. Please recommend any shaft that would be like the above shaft at a reasonable price. I want to put one into my Callaway V series driver resulting in I think a lower spin off the head and more roll out using a reg flex shaft. (use a reg stock shaft now with little roll out, swing speed is 86). Thanks for any help.
