  1. It definitely happens everywhere, every forum has their share of internet keyboard warriors and I unfortunately attracted a few. But it doesn't really bother me, I just feel somewhat bad that I made someone out there spend their time actually trying to bring me down, they probably could've done something better with their time. What you said if lag is just an indication of how fast my hands are going then I will definitely be spending more time looking at my hands at impact, etc. Appreciate your time.
  2. Thanks for the reply, my instructor and I have been working on a certain ball flight/distance for a week or so now and the number one thing we're trying to do is implement an order of mechanics in my swing that will result my hands ahead of the ball at impact, and he mentioned the lag that I would generate from this would be a contributor to power. I agree 100% that trying to "force" lag is no bueno, in fact, forcing anything in the swing is probably not good... but through step by step changes we've been doing in my swing is and has definitely helped progress everything. Nevertheless, thanks for the response.
  3. You seem mad, and I'm okay with that. Thanks for the reply. If you are requesting a picture of my hands at impact so you can review further, than I will gladly do so, if you actually are trying to help.
  4. Guys, it seems it has got a little out of hand here. What I wanted to know is if my lag needed work, or not, and if not, then I would've kindly asked for tips to help better achieve lag. If it looked like I was coming here for attention, then sorry, that was not the intention. But from the looks of it, some of you would rather try to degrade a user and act like an incompetent a**-hat here than not say anything remotely helpful at all. It's called a gentleman's sport for a reason fellas, it obviously looks like there's people out there who still don't realize that. And, it sure looks like some of you should try getting off your high horse sometime, and maybe try to learn to read thread titles a little better.
  5. cool story man, but ive already understood that concept all along. i made it a personal goal to work on lag for a certain ball flight/distance, it's just what i wanted. i'm 17, it's not like i spent years working on lag. more like a a week or so. of course those other elements of the game highly contribute to scoring, lag is just something, once again, i wanted to implement in my swing.
  6. i appreciate it man, and who care's bout the handicap, right? good advice is good advice, the handicap does not entirely determine your knowledge of the game/swing. hell, my dad doesn't even pay attention to his handicap one bit and his swing has been praised by our head club professional. last time i checked i think he was a 14 or 15 and he definitely doesn't play like a 14 or 15, he just rarely plays or posts his scores. he's a range rat like me. he and as well as my other instructor take all the credit of my swing progress. whether you're a high or low handicapper, feedback is still feedback and i highly appreciate you taking your time looking into my swing.
  7. hahaha yeah, it's not really what i prefer, it's just the ball that i have the most of. i usually don't mind what ball i use, i just happen to have alot of free nike juice's from my dad's friend. it doesn't take a lot to figure out why he chose to give them away, though...
  8. thanks and yeah, i've noticed the acronym as well :) they're definitely not bad for being knock offs, even though the only thing that is a POS is my lack of practicing with them ;) i forget what the flex is, its without a doubt not a stiff shaft, though...
  9. actually im not a 9.9, i originally put 99 and i guess you can no longer put it to 99 and they switched it to 9.9. too lazy to switch. but that is besides the point because my original post was seeking feedback on my lag, not my handicap. thank you
  10. Been working on implementing lag to my swing whilst trying to drive my right leg in more, and my head as level as possible. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
  11. AK and Camilo: a few of my faves, so this should be an awesome weekend. i'm going with camilo for the win, although his usual pattern is starting off hot and then slowly lose it on the weekends, its always been his turnout. hopefully he'll keep his strong scoring
  12. wouldn't be suprised if it didn't actually have the red bull in the bottle, though hes probably required to use the bottle.
  13. couldnt believe that 4 putt :| but hes fun to watch, diggin his painter hat too. first player i've seen with a puma endorser
  14. THAT A BOY CAMILO! Career low baby!
  15. i know, that putts gonna give my man camilo nightmares. he's still my favorite player though, and i'll be looking forward to who'll win tomorrow. although i must say... camilo vs. poulter = COBRA DUEL!
