I'd rather be the passenger since I do like to walk up to the green and such on occasion.

I'm a bit late to the party but Clear Creek would be pretty decent overall for a beginner. The muni in Pasadena would be good also.

I'd go for the latter, when Tiger was dominating in a similar fashion I started rooting against him and I don't care for rooting against anyone.

Understood, though I was traveling alone so it was easy to keep my distance. While the dining thing is a bit of a hassle the temperature for being outside was perfect. Also, the Monte Cristo at The Classic Club was outstanding. 🙂

Yes, I had no issue in Palm Springs over Thanksgiving with tee times and such, I even walked on one course in the afternoon (though it was actually Thanksgiving Day). All dining was outside but I know that might have changed last week.

I managed to get to Coeur D'Alene in July, played The Wynn in October and PGA West Stadium over Thanksgiving. I had an epic lineup of trips lined up to Pinehurst, Sand Valley and Bandon lined up for 2020 but we know what happened there. However, I do have Pinehurst and Bandon back on the docket for 2021 so we'll see if that holds. Its been a long time coming.

I played Magnolia the Saturday before Labor Day, was pretty wet due to all the rain they had. I thought it was OK though. Highlands Reserve is a fun track, I agree. Its been quite some time since I have played it as I moved from the area about 5-6 years ago. Celebration is a nice course, as are both courses at OCN but I've never gotten the good feels from the place for some reason. My next trip will be Maui, I'm hoping to play at Kapalua before they close down the Plantation course for a renovation. I'm also looking to get onto King Kamehameha too.
