I recently went for a fitting on the shaft optimiser and it gave these as my top 3: Project X LZ 6.0 Project X 6.0 DG S300 120 I didn’t go with the Mizuno in the end but put the Project 6 LZ’s into a set of Taylormade 760’s. My previous irons were 790’s with Project X 6.0 in them. I can feel the change in the shaft but would be pushed to say if there was a dramatic change between the two.

Hello all, My name is Karl and I am located in the NW of England near to ‘The Golf Coast’ which includes Royal Birkdale, Hillside, Southport and Ainsdale and West Lancs golf clubs. I have played since being a teenager but have recently returned to the game after a severe mid-life crisis where i became addicted to riding my bike rather than swinging a club. I am playing off 11 but my aim is to be back off single figures in 2019 and my aim is to get down to 6. Club wise, I am predominantly a Taylormade guy but put a Ping G400 Max into play last year - which I love. I stated playing with the new Titleist Pro V1 Prototype recently and since doing so have had a win and second place within a week! I think it will be my ball of choice for the near future... I am looking forward to some good chat with like-minded individuals. Karl
