I used to play golf quite a bit, was really interested in improving my swing but a combination of things took me away from playing (work, an accident, study, relationship). I sold my clubs and all I have now is an old wedge and one of those tour striker 7 irons. I haven't used either in more than a year.
I'm in korea and I will be moving to Canada permanently next year. I want to practice in the range a little (I don't have tons of time and I don't like practicing) over the next year and remake my swing somewhat.
I don't want to be great.. I want serviceable with minimal upkeep. There is nothing more frustrating of having no idea if you'll even make solid contact. I want to golf mainly to meet people in Canada so it will be a social thing. If all else fails, I'll just get some lessons over there but I'd like to figure some out on my own first.
My main problem with golf is upper body/lower body connection and interplay. This also explains why I can't dance. I am very good at anything involving hand eye co-ordination ... but this falls apart when I have to combine that with my feet.
Any recommendations for a swing for an uncoordinated person? Maybe something with a set lower body?
