  1. I never said it was the only reason. The main reason for inconsistencies is your ability to swing a golf club and consistant ball striking. And if your intention on this site is to just contradict what everyone says or thinks, then please ignore my posts. Im not intetested.
  2. Yes I agree with all of these answers. My guess is I will add the 3i at 20 degrees and a 3 wood at 15 degrees and lose the 20 degree hybrid. I can hit a 3 wood, just not my favorite club in the bag.
  3. I have played both. Titleist sent me a sleeve of the Trufeel to try and give feedback. I liked the ball but find the Srixon Q Star Tour better overall.
  4. I have played both. I am much more confident and skilled with a long iron. I have considered a "driving iron" at 14 degrees.
  5. Yes i agree on the wedges. I play my ping g20, 4 to UW but play Glide wedges. Nothing like a new wedge.
  6. I find it hard to find value in spending a fortune on new clubs. I stick with my Ping G20s. Forgiving and accurate. I have not hit anything new that makea me want to change. Good luck..
  7. Srixon Q Star Tour. Great 3 pc ball at a real good price. If you have a slower swing speed try the Srixon soft féel. Its long but you will give up spin around the green. If you swing a little faster the QStar tour is real good.
  8. Work on your swing. Turn the right tendancy into a draw. Close stance a tad bit and close the club face at address. Practice inside out swing and you can start to draw the ball.
  9. So I can fit one more club in the bag if I choose to and thought I would see what you folks think. I play Ping G20. Driver 10.5 Hybrid 17 4i to UW - 4i is 23 Ping Glide wedges 54 and 58 Bottom of the bag is fine. My initial thought was to add the matching 3i at 20 degree loft. I am much more confident hitting a long iron than a fairway wood but I feel the gap between the driver and hybrid is needed more. If Ping made a Crossover at 14 degrees this would be a no brainer but they don't. Thoughts? Thanks
  10. Yes. The 400s and the 410s. Did not like them.
  11. For me it was working on playing a fade. I have a natural draw but really wanted to be able to work it both ways depening on the needed. I now am just as confident playing a cut as I am playing a draw.
  12. Ping G20 is am amazing driver. I play a stiff flex 10.5 and its a fairway finder and easy to draw or fade.
  13. This is why I game Ping G20s. Much more traditional lofts and distance accuracy. My 7i is 32 degree loft. All these new sets, Mavrik, Sim etc: have jacked up lofts. Most sets are stock priced from 5 iron to PW cause why would you need a 4i or 3i with these lofts. Screws up your gapping. I play Driver, hybrid and 3i to LW with good gaps. I also found that these jacked lofts were much more inconsistant on distance. I'll stick with my older clubs that go just as far as I want them to and and still be able to work the ball left or right.
