Hi ajw426, I also recently bought a second-hand Skytrak. I wonder if you have any follow-up since last Feb, e.g. tips on how best to use it and perhaps faults that you found with the monitor that you've found a way to correct / compensate for?

Camo I'd like to update you on that $2/day figure. We operate a factory here in the northern coastal city of Qingdao in between Beijing and Shanghai. Our people make $20-$25/day, and I can see them making $50/day in 5 years. I try to match my irons and wedges, with the driver / fw / hybrid coming from the same manufacturer, but more for the shaft than the brand.

Out 46 + In 44 = 90 at Riverside CC, Olympic Course in Qingdao, China. Par 72, Blue Tees. Terrible start with a hooked tee shot to left water, ending up with a TBogey. Fighting a hook off the tee throughout the round, but finished with a 5-wood 205 yards into the wind to set up a birdie. Finally gaining some form after a long layoff. Hope to do better this weekend.

an embarrassing shot followed by three great shots for a birdie. Riverside CC, Olympic Course, Qingdao, China. Par5 510 yards, wind in the face. Chunked tee shot left me 400 yards out in semi-rough. Hit 3-wood with slight draw that left me with 185 yards uphill. Hit 3-hybrid fade to about 10 feet. Putt dropped for a 4.

at my home course Tiger Beach Golf Links, 46/50 for an uninspiring 96. hit 9 fairways but terrible short game (all chipping within 20 yards of the pin) cost me 8-10 strokes...

well i've been traveling on business overseas, and it's winter time so not a lot of time to practice etc etc. shot 96 in Jan before the trip, then 108 on Thursday. need to get back to the range and work out those fat from that German Schweinshaxe!

I lead a team that manage a hardwood lumber optimization plant in the coastal city of Qingdao (famous for its Tsingtao Beer). We import hardwood lumber from North American (mostly Red Oak, White Oak, Poplar, Red Alder) and cut them up with German machinery. Our products end up in the US, Europe, and also in China. We're the largest production site in our industry. I am originally from Taiwan, studied in the Dominican Republic and the US (Brown Class of '92) before taking up this job.
