  1. It should have a (lost) ball indicator as well.
  2. Are the on-line fittings (ie Ping Web-Fit and Golfsmith's Smartfit) accurate? Has anyone has an actual fitting that was a lot different than the web-fit?
  3. You should use the New Groove Rule to your advantage. ie, "Honey, I have to get new clubs. Mine are illegal !"
  4. I guess my point was if its their guide, why aren't they following it? It doesn't speak much for their guide if they aren't using it. To me it seems like hiring a realtor to do an appraisal on a property, then list it for more than the appraised value. Sure, you might get lucky, but doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of the appraisal? CT207 seems happy with their service. Perhaps the service comes at a premium. I'd agree that good service has value. I just wondered why the numbers weren't adding up if they were from the same place.
  5. For example: The "Guide" shows a set of Ping Zing irons ranging from $92.53 (low) to $143.96 (high). On their site, they are advertising a set in "Good" condition for $169.50. It seems they don't follow their guide.
  6. To the right of Trade-In Value is ">get re-sale values THE BLUE BOOK OF GOLF (tm)"
  7. PGA.com Value Guide says in the lower left corner of its web page its created and managed by 3Balls.com. Why then do the prices listed for clubs on 3Balls web site exceed the highest resale values listed on the guide? I must be missing something.
  8. Fairway at a muni. The green stuff is crabgrass.
  9. My confusion is resulting from each appearing to be similar materials and each having the same grooves.
  10. Whats the difference in the X-Tour, X-Forged, and Jaws?
  11. Why? There are poor slobs that get up every day, go to work, and make value meals ...and are paid very little. Is it beacuse the companies have to make a gazillon percent profit?
  12. The following link is an image of a wedge face using marco mode. http://yfrog.com/5pvokeyclsoej Is this wedge too abused to still perform?
  13. UPro requires you to download the course info to your GPS unit. Basic modes are free (you get numbers only). No service fee. Pro mode (aerial views and flyovers will cost you a one time fee per course, discounts on multiples), they've added some new features (score keeping, club distances) that they are charging a one time fee for as well.
  14. The pricing must have changed since some of these were posted. The ProMode (aerial images) is $10 per course only if you buy them one at a time. They offer packages with greater discounts the more you buy. Basic mode is free, numbers only to hazards and green (front, middle, and back) distances. The distances seem to be accurate. I'm currently waiting for a course to be available. No idea when it'll be completed.
