I just finished my first season of golf, and I am in the process of building a set of golf clubs. The set i used last year was given to me by a family friend, but the clubs are all but worthless and are extremely worn...They were simply to be used to get me started out.
Right now i have a set of irons (pinemeadow) 3-9 that i am pretty happy with. I have a bag, glove, and a bunch of used balls. I am interested in buying a full set so i can get started right away once the weather heats up a bit.
For a putter I was thinking the NIKE OZ T160 black, i really like the feel. But other than that (and the 3-9 irons), I have no idea on what to buy and where. I am told that I have a solid swing. And I plan on committing to golf as a primary hobby/sport. I am around 5'9'' 160 lbs , with pretty regular features.
I need wedges, woods, and a driver...any ideas on nice affordable clubs to get me started??? any help would be great.
