Single should have been allowed through in that instance. Expanding on the topic, I applaud those that enjoy playing as a single. I personally hate it. If i'm solo for the day, I'd rather spend it at the range.

I can understand the apprehension. There is nothing worse than being behind someone who is waiting for a green to clear that is 300+ out, and then they chunk the shot, (yes i've done that too) Safety has to be the play though.

I can't hit a fairway wood to save my life. I go driver, 3 iron in my bag. I have tried to replaced the 3 iron a lot, but 8/10 shots are pure with it and i'm consistently 235 - 240 with it, so why change. It sounds like you groove your 4 iron, so why change?

Greetings all, I've been playing for about 16 years, i'm about an 11 handicap and cannot wait for the snow to melt to get back at it. I also work for a cigar retailer so I get a great supply of cigars to go with my golf habit. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and talk so golf. Cheers! Tim
