Rushed production, meager content

Pros: the drills are good

Cons: the viewer is not told why the drills are good or relevant

I have finally been able to get my hands on this and watch it. Well, I believe that the spelling mistake at the back of the box sums up the quality of this production pretty well:   Quote: his approach to the golf swing has made him the most sought after techer in the world   This is something that has been put together in a hurry, to ride the wave of "it's Tiger's new coach", and because it's been rushed, it just lacks depth in many areas.   Now, the drills in themselves are good, and for me who cannot really have easy access to a flesh-and-bones Stack & Tilt instructor (yet), this DVD does...

American style course, host of events on the Japan PGA and LPGA

Pros: Great layout, fantastic condition, beautiful scenery

Cons: Very far from Tokyo, most people find the greens difficult

This is the only golf course in Japan designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. This was built in the 90's during the economic bubble in Japan. The whole facility is a gorgeous resort that doubles as a spa. If you are playing with a member it is possible to play through at the turn if you insist a little. (typically Japanese courses force you to take a break after 9 holes)   I'm always looking...

Good course for business entertainment

Pros: Close to Tokyo, good conditions

Cons: Expensive, no driving range

One of my colleague is member there, thus I have access to it fairly easily. Like most built in the late 80's early 90's in Japan, the club house is gorgeous and well maintained. The course is usually in pretty good condition, but in the middle of the peak seasons (April-June and October-November) the greens see a lot of traffic and ball marks are not repaired by visitors. The design of the course is nothing to write home about, it is easy and forgiving, although someone visiting from abroad would probably say the fairways are not that wide (but that is the tendency in Japan).   There is hole #5, a stupid long and straight 600 yards par 5 from the whites that offers no...
