Seemore method and this Seemore PCB putter changed everything!

Posted

Pros: Face balanced at impact, quality finish, RST alignment system, heavy and balanced swing weight

Cons: Nickel is not as dark as images -- will get better if it darkens with age

A putter and a method:   This Seemore PCB putter is a wonderfully balanced, center shafted putter in its own right. Anyone could pick it up, use it, and enjoy the quality milled finish and balanced feel. It is a beautiful putter and a simple test drive will show it is well made.    But what makes Seemore putters special is their alignment system -- Riflescope technology or RST. In order to take advantage of the Seemore RST alignment system ("Hide The Dot") you will need to embrace their concept of a neutral setup and a gentle arc swing. The promise is that if you embrace the RST idea, your setup and arc will be the same every time you putt. I decided to...

Hand Made, retro, high quality head covers

Posted

Pros: Quality leather, look and feel handmade, distinctive

Cons: priced befitting handmade, less style choices than some

Stitch Golf hand makes head covers. They have been selling leather head covers for a few years and have added a wool line this year. I have the leather and they are great.   I got the red with "racing" stripe pictured above. I got a set for my father as a gift and he picked the black vintage. Both look awesome. The vintage is very understated in design but the quality of the leather will make these stand out from the crowd. I like the "Racer" with the stripe but after seeing my father's vintage set, I could go either way.   We each got a 4 cover set. Mine is driver, 3-wood, diamond for first hybrid, and "H" for second hybrid. All fit my clubs very well. I have Titleist...

Great feel, height control, mid-handicapers' dream

Posted

Pros: feel, setup square, excellent out of rough

Cons: some think topline is too thick

Played my JPX-800 Pro's for six rounds now. Getting the feel for new distances. 14 greens in regulation Saturday -- that's very good for me. Really only missed two greens with an iron in my hands.   So here's my review:   1. Straighter than my old 2005 Fusions in part because they set up better -- more square for my eye. The flight is also straighter -- sometimes a little fade, mostly dead straight, almost never a draw and I never feel like a snap hook is possible. This could be the shaft fitting me well (stock XP S300) as much as the heads being awesome. 2. About the same distance as the Fusions. 5-iron may be 10 yards shorter. Fusion long irons could be...
