Great alignment, super sweet spot

Pros: Complete visibility of putter face and ball, perfect alignment

Cons: None

My old Scotty Cameron blue steel Laguna rusted in storage, so I was looking for a new putter.  I had tested out the Backstrykes earlier in the year and thought the concept was a little strange.  I was looking at the Sabertooth and the White Ice 7 when I decided to try these again.  The Blade really spoke to me.  I especially like the solid black alignment aid on top.  I love how the shaft is completely removed from your vision: I don't even notice it when I'm setting up.   When I set the putter down, it lines up square to the target with no manipulation on my part.  The angle of the shaft promotes a slight forward press and the hit is as smooth and...

Not quite up to the hype

Pros: Easy to hit on partial swings

Cons: Trouble getting consistent ball flight

Hybrids hadn't been invented the last time I played regularly, so when I started playing again this year and bought new irons they never even occurred to me.  After playing with my set for a couple months and talking to a lot of folks I came to the conclusion that I needed a Hybrid to fill the gap between my 4 iron and 5 wood.   I had tried the Mashie at a local club event and liked it.  When I went to the golf store to buy it I tried out the new Nickent and the Adams as well.  I didn't care for the Adams, so it was between the Mashie and the Nickent.  I actually liked the look and setup of the Nickent better, but at 19 deg it seemed to close to my 18 deg 5...

Good fairway woods for traditional players

Pros: Small heads, great ball flight. 18 deg is very forgiving

Cons: 13 deg very hard to hit off the ground

I bought these because they went with the driver (I'm picky that way).  Like the tour driver, these have smaller heads and the top of the head is pure black.  Simply put, these are gorgeous clubs.   I used to play 1, 2, and 4 woods, so I chose the 13 deg strong 3 and the 18 degree.   - 13 deg (strong 3).  It took me a bit of work to get comfortable with this club, but now it is the most reliable club in my bag off the tee.  It produces a beautiful flight with a moderate trajectory and rolls for days with a little draw.  That being said, I cannot seem to hit it off the deck at all.  This is a great 2nd or short driver but no help off the...

Good set up, great sweet spot feel, high trajectory. easy to work. Great driver!

Pros: Clean look, easy setup, workable

Cons: Not very forgiving on toe hits

I have the 9.5 degree with an extra stiff shaft.   When I purchased this driver I also tried out the regular Octane and the new Razr Composite.  This one felt the best of the three hands down.  I've been using it for two months and have not been disappointed.   When I hit the sweet spot the ball just rockets off the face.  Consistently high trajectory, even with a draw, and a very satisfying "ping".  It sounds like an aluminum baseball bat!  I like the fact that the top of the head is pure black and unadorned, unlike the non-tour version.   This club has no bias and I can easily work it in either direction, although sometimes it feels...
