Soft Durable Ball That is Great Around the Green

Posted

Pros: Durable, Soft, Great Spin, Inspires Confidence.

Cons: Shorter than other top market balls I've previously used.

I've been using this ball for the past 10-15 rounds as I wanted to make sure I did a quality test before providing a review.  I found this ball to be durable but with a soft feel.  As mentioned in the Pros, I found it to be great for my iron game from about 6 iron on up to the 60 degree wedge.  The feel of the ball and the spin around the green made me comfortable in taking high risk shots and I was provided with great results.  I was able to get really good spin feedback even on harder/dry greens and this allowed me to be more aggressive with my play.    I found the workability of the ball to be similar to other similarly priced golf balls and had no...

Aveo Big & Tall Golf - Pleated Shorts

Posted

Pros: Comfortable, light weight, quality material

Cons: Back pocket could be wider

Aveo Big & Tall Golf-Classic Pleated Shorts is the product I will be reviewing.   I was recently provided with a pair of of these shorts by Aveo with the intent that I would review their product.  I am happy to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed playing golf in these shorts and would not hesitate to purchase another set.  These shorts are made specifically with the Big & Tall golfer in mind and I am thankful.  Too often I visit golf stores with golf apparel but cannot find anything that fits the way I prefer.  Aveo has done well by getting into this market and think they will find great success.   PROS:  These shorts are well made by quality...

Easy to use product that can help your game!

Posted

Pros: Versatility; Easy to use

Cons: Confusion on overall impact of helping your swing

The TORC swing trainer is an innovative tool that is easy to use, can be used anywhere, and really helps you get warmed up.  The TORC trainer is also reasonably priced.   * The trainer can be installed on any part of the shaft of your clubs so that you can feel weight in many different areas.   * The trainer can be installed and used on the golf course, on the range, or during warm ups.  I found I enjoyed the trainer best as a warm up tool prior to hitting the range or the course.   *The trainer will help you feel the weight of the club in different areas of your swing which assisted me in my timing sequencing.    Overall, I feel the...

Golfexx is a great training aid that can help your flexibility and strength.

Posted

Pros: The product achieves its stated goal with ease.

Cons: None

First, I will write about me to give some perspective.  I am a 31/m with very limited flexibility.  My flexibility issues have hampered my golf game since the beginning so I have been looking for ways to fix the issue.  I was awarded the opportunity to review the Golflexx training aid and I must say I am very impressed.      Equipment:  A standard shaft that has two golf club like grips on both ends and has a padded cushion in the middle.  Unlike a regular golf club, the Golflexx is great because you can flex it approximately 6" and pre-load it for your stretches.  It also comes in three different flex levels: light, medium, and...

The Orange Whip Training Aid promotes itself as doing the following:   From the Orange Whip site:   THE ORANGE WHIP is the ultimate golf swing trainer and fitness tool for today's golfer and athlete.  It is versatile, dynamic and the most effective swing aid on the market.  Consistent use of the Orange Whip will improve your golf swing and provide an essential core-muscle workout.   I received the Orange Whip Training Aid as part of the review program here on The Sand Trap.  I was anxious to try this particular training aid as I have flexibility, tempo, and balances issues in my swing.
