For the golfers who like to be different.

Pros: Visually unconventional, Tour ball performance

Cons: None

This ball performs as well as any other tour quality ball I have played in the past. It's long off the tee, easy to control on approach, and feels good off the putter. I wouldn't know the difference if I was blind. What I really like about this ball, is the various color options. I would really like to see an expansion of colors available for this ball. But as it stands, I don't need a sharpie to distinguish my ProV1 from the rest; I got a Volvik!

The 3 Deep version of this Wood could potentially replace your driver.

Pros: Weight, Performance and Feel.

Cons: The orange does not match my other gear.

The version of this club I used was the 3 Deep 14.5 Pro with the x-stiff 75 gram Aldila shaft. First thing you notice with this wood is its weight. Personally, I enjoy the heavier clubs as they provide a more solid feel through contact. Which leads to the next part, performance. The ball flies well off the face and down the fairway; as well as any I had experienced. But one thing thats hard to find in a club, is that feel that gives you the confidence to attack the course. This club has that feel to me.   Looks are good. Has the same theme as the X Hot's just with different colors. As far as looks go, if they don't repel me, its all the same.   The price tag on this is...

This ball converted me over to Volvik White Color from Titleist Pro-v's.

Pros: Great feel and performance from any and everywhere on the golf course. Very durable. Clean print and professional appearance.

Cons: Priced similar to Pro-v's.

I received these balls at a pro-am event sponsored by Volvik at the end of March. The reps boasted that this ball was going to be a Pro-V Killer; seemed to be over the top. But after playing these balls throughout the event and seeing this ball perform on the course makes me much less skeptical about that statement. I was reaching max distance with my driver, stopping balls on firm tournament condition greens, and played nearly a single ball the whole round, even though I hit several hard objects, that would normally damage a ball.   The retail price is said to be around the same as Pro-v's, so about $48 per dozen.   Basically, I will be playing the Volvik White Color...

The same look, feel and performance that you expect from a Vokey wedge.

Pros: Esthetics (shape and color), weight, and performance

Cons: It doesn't hit the ball for me yet & price

Perhaps its just a preference on my part, but I really like the Vokey wedges for their solid heavy feel. Now, I haven't tried many other wedges to relate too, but this wedge performs as good as I could ever expect a wedge to perform. They look great addressed to the ball, impart as much spin as I need, and come in a grind that I'm not familiar with. This grind thing has not proven to show its benefits on the course, so I don't care too much about it. If you have owned the SM4 and preferred those, than you will like these. Honestly, they should have just labeled these SM4 and spare us the $130 retail price. In my opinion if your choice was between SM4 and SM5 at your local golf...
