Trusty Rusty works

Pros: Does its job.

Cons: Rust is a gimmick. It wears off.

I have the 55 degree pre-rusted finish wedge (Not the black or satin finish). I found this club in a clearance sale for $25.00.   If I had a handicap, it would be a high handicap.   I can use this club with a full swing off the deck. It launches high, as a wedge should. With my swing, I reach about 55 yards with this club. It took a little while to get used to the club. My irons are PING G15's, which have a big sole that tends to sweep a divot than cut a divot. The Trusty Rusty sole cuts into the turf quite a bit more easily, and that took a little getting used to. Now, I don't even notice it anymore.   I use a Wilson Staff Duo, a softer two piece ball. Pros: Nice soft feel, adjustable, easy to be consistent

Cons: None that I have yet identified

Let me qualify this post with the following: 1. If I had a handicap, I would be a high-handicap golfer 2. I have not yet had a full practice session with this club yet, only a comparison/tryout session 3. What works for me may not work for you   That having been said, after trying different putters, yesterday I settled on the Odyssey Tank Cruiser #7. I was given some cash at Christmas to go buy a new putter, and now that the weather is nice was finally able to get and try some.   I have tried different putters before on the indoor mats at different stores, but was holding off until I could spend some time at Collindale Golf Course in Fort Collins.
