  1. Ugh. They better keep him away from tall buildings for a few days…
  2. I’m simply sharing the thoughts and perspective of people who’s opinions on the subject seem to be a lot more relevant than yours and mine. I’m not at all embarrassed because you disagree with them.
  3. I’ll pass that along to him and his people. 👍
  4. I talked to my buddy, 100% Navajo, about this thread. His response was to shake his head, laugh and say “Leave it to the arrogant white man to tell us what we should be offended by…” Just thought I’d share. I’m sure the arrogant white men here will continue to tell him he’s wrong though… 😂
  5. Thanks, but I don’t need any of them. I’m just fine. Appreciate the thought though. 👍
  6. Moreover, assuming that it’s considered less safe to hit larger stones, it could be perceived as discouraging a player from taking an action that could make play more safe… There are other instances in the rules that allow for relief from unsafe conditions. If rocks in a bunker are considered unsafe, then yeah, I was a bit surprised by that limitation.
  7. Assuming the intent of the change was for safety, I’d have to say no.
  8. A nice one on our tough 18th today. A nice 4 hybrid in to a soft green from 185 to about 10 feet. The putt would’ve gone into a shot glass. 🙂 Just 4 to go, only one of which is particularly difficult. Those last few are always tough to close out though…
  9. My only comment was “silliness”. No worries. I’ll let my buddies know that you disagree with them though and have their best interests in mind. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it. 😂
  10. Yep. Yep. People are too easily butt hurt these days, and others are too ready to appease the silliness. I have two very close friends who are 100% Native American. One a Navajo whose grandfather was a code talker in World War II, and the other a Cherokee. Both lose their mind over stuff like this. According to both, it does nothing but pay lip service and gives people the impression that they’re actually doing something to help Native Americans, when in fact, they ignore the genuine problems facing Native Americans these days. But I’m the ignorant one. 😑
  11. Or it could mean that he lives in an area that doesn’t require masks for anyone…
  12. I’m about to turn 63. I hit my 7-iron 150. As long as too many of the par-4’s aren’t over about 415ish, I play pretty comfortably up to about 6,500 yards. Yep, there are times I’m a bit short on a par-4, and I never reach par-5’s, but I can still get around just fine. Over 6,500 yards, or more than 2 par-4’s that I’m not likely to reach without a hero shot, and the tees are too long for me, and I look at the next set up. If you’re expecting to lay up on many par-4’s, we have a different definition of fun.
