Hello golf fans, welcome to yet another informative edition of Hittin’ the Links. So I hope everyone got to say goodbye to Doral as we know it. Donald Trump plans to “blow it up” starting immediately after this weekend’s event. What we will get when he’s done with the Blue Monster is anyone’s guess.

Why is everything that Donald Trump gets involved in turns into a circus side show? Are we trying to revamp a classic golf course or turn this into a amusement attraction? It seems like more and more these courses are being “revamped” but not for the better. Length does not increase difficulty on the PGA level IMO. Add in more traps, pin placement, plant some more trees to narrow the fairways, these things I think increase difficulty and could raise scares of that’s what they really want. Personally I enjoyed this past weekend.
