\"Hittin'The Masters has concluded, and Phil sits alone at the top of the leader board. I don’t know about you, but I really think they need to move the jacket ceremony out of Butler Cabin and onto the 18th green or something else. It just seems so awkward watching the whole scenario play out. I’d also love to know what Tiger was thinking as he slipped that coat on Phil.<\/p>\n

In any event, this week’s links are a hodge-podge collection of all sorts of things I’ve found as I watched The Masters in tireless fashion. If you guys have any feedback that you’d like to share, I’m all ears.

\nHole 1: Turf Management<\/strong>
\nI thought this page at the USGA’s site was really smooth. If you or your child is interested in learning the art of repairing ball marks, learning golf cart etiquette, or why greens get aerated, this page has video of all of these and more. It’s a real learning experience. [link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole 2: Tag Heuer<\/strong>
\nIn the market for a watch. Try these. I’m no watch connoisseur, but they sure are shiny so that must mean they’re good. I have several. (On my Tiger ’05 game) [link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole 3: Brush T<\/strong>
\nI got a chance to try these babies out this past weekend. I know they’ve been out for a while, but I’m a Johnny-come-Lately when it comes to certain products. The beauty of these puppies are is that they come in three different sizes that you can match up with the club that you’re teeing off with. I didn’t notice a gain of 30 or 40 yards off my drive or anything, but they do come in their own cool storage capsules, and they’re pretty well put together to prevent constant snapping like wooden tees. Hole 4: Golf Joy<\/strong>
\nI recently came upon this site while looking for a new bag. Golf Joy not only has a wide selection of bags, but they have an extensive inventory or clothes, clubs and all types of miscellaneous items you may or may not need. [link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole 5: Cigars Anyone?<\/strong>
\nThe folks over at Bonita Smoke Shop offer an extensive collection of cigars, humidors and cigar paraphernalia. They also have some sweet looking golf themed items. [link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole 6: Great Golf Memories<\/strong>
\nWith the 70th Masters in the book, it’s time to clean up on the merchandise. Great Golf memories not only has some, but they offer a whole lot more. Club display racks, ball racks, golf signs, and clocks are just the tip of the iceberg. [link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole 7: Golf Connoisseur<\/strong>
\nThe Robb Report for the addicted, upscale golfer. Golf Connoisseur has a nice review of the best, most privileged Private Golf Clubs in the United States. From their homepage, you can get connected to all the absolutely fabulous retailers in jewelry, real estate, cigars, travel, and wines. Try to hold your noses up to the correct angle of superiority and also make sure your blood is at the correct shade of blue before you visit this site. [link<\/a>] <\/p>\n

Hole 8: Penguin<\/strong>
\nBefore they started airing final round coverage of The Masters on Sunday, they showed the last few holes of the classic 1986 Masters. During this airing, I noticed Tom Kite sporting some Original Penguin garb. So, the mood struck and here it is. They got some clever winter hats and some hip suits. [link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole 9: Harbour Town<\/strong>
\nNext week, the PGA Tour ventures to Harbour Town Golf Links where the winner will be sporting one ugly jacket, but still very much coveted. It may not have the prestige like the Masters, but it sure has some beauty. Also, Davis Love III may as well become head groundskeeper there when he retires, as the “The 3rd” has amassed five titles and five ugly jackets to go along with each of them.
